It's the controversy she thrives on. The whole dancing attack from the right gets her sympathy. She uses their attacks against her as a way to make her popular. If it were not for the right she's be ignored and fade. The GND is popular because Conservatives attack it so vigorously putting her in the news and making her look like a leader. They want to tar and feather her the true representative of Democrats so yes they are empowering her.

(the original) She exposes their hypocrazy and their weird values So many people were like WTF .. . when they tried to shame her with a college video It was so weird that they thought it was something to be ashamed of ESP after the defense of slamming beers with Squeeie It was so blatant and ineffective But. . .. i don't know how it played in the Tuckies Rocket River
I know you hate it when I provide the bio of the people you cite, but... Ms. Turner is the president of a right-wing non-profit that promotes "free market" approaches to health care (in other words, getting rid of ACA and going back to the prior "free market"). She has contributed such op-eds to right wing blogs and news sites like The Daily Signal, The American Spectator, and National Review. Her non-profit is funded by the Koch Family (no surprise) and by various corporations in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
They may be, or they may not be. But if your sources can't withstand the revelation of their biography and whether they have biases, what good are your sources? Again, if I presented a op-ed supporting tobacco use that was written by a scientist that worked for Phillip Morris, you'd be pretty suspicious of whatever opinions they presented, correct? If I presented an op-ed on American's eating habits or clothing choices by the PR person for PETA, you'd be similarly suspicious.
Yup... you honestly expected a serious reaction to your "well, she got her op-ed into the Wall Street Journal"?, as if that get's it partial credit. An executive with a right wing "free market" organization gets into a conservative editorial page that touts the benefits of "free market"? Wow. I remember one of the Trump's cabinets guys had a $10,000 toilet iirc. However, the trigger is "living wage". It drives conservos bananas as it conjures thoughts that their Big Mac might Chinese take out might cost a few cents more. Of course they all like to think of themselves as eventually being ruggedly small entrepeneurs some day.
