Go Raptors Go Nuggets And don't look now, but Orlando is a half game out of the 8 seed, and Charlotte has one of the hardest remaining schedules.
Toronto is hands down the best team in the East. After a long time, we're gonna have a fun playoffs in that conference.
Milwaukee - Toronto should be a fun ECF, if it gets to that. If Toronto doesn't break through and loses Kawhi in the offseason, it'd be a cruel twist of fate. LeBron finally moved on, only to have Giannis take his place as the beast in the east.
I was wondering the same thing. Siakam looks like a legit piece to build around if Kawhi bails. Raptors have gone all-in this season, but they could quickly retool this summer by trading Lowry, Ibaka, and Gasol -- all expiring in 2020. Then, roll with a young core of Siakam, Powell, Anunoby and VanVleet. I'm sure Masai Ujiri can quickly rebuild this roster if given the opportunity.
Celtics are so bad. Just get rid of kyrie and let roz get the spot like last year and try to add another star.
Terry Rozier sucks tho, 35% from 3, 40% from 2, non-existent passer, terrible defender. Too many people haven't watched him at all this year and only remember that series against the Kidd Bucks.
That’s imo because of his new role. Non of them are performing well like last year, everybody was doing better.
He's never shot above 41% from 2, and was the same passer from last year. It got covered up by 38% from 3 but that's looking to be an abberaiton, not the norm. His career TS% is forty-eight-point-nine, which happens to be his TS% this year. Russell Westbrook has a better TS%, and he's shooting 27% from 3 this season.
Siakam was a late 1st round pick, like Clint Capela. The kind of pick that Tilman trades away for Luxury Tax Saving.
Siakam went in 2016, we traded that pick to Denver for the services of Ty Lawson, it was lotto protected, but we ****ed that one up by making the 8 seed.
Celtics are 8-2 without Kyrie Irving... 5-0 without Jaylen Brown 5-2 without Marcus Morris 4-1 without Terry Rosier 4-3 without Al Horeford 6-3 without Gordon Hayward Tatum hasn't missed any games. Too many ball-handlers in an offense that caters to nothing but off-ball stuff and team play, Ainge should have shipped off at least one of those guys (Especially Brown or Rosier) at the deadline.
The 4 most underperforming teams (excluding tankers) according to vegas: Lakers Celtics Rockets Pelicans The Rockets have been the most injured team in the NBA, the Lakers aren't far behind (Lonzo and LeBron missing a month+ each), and the Pelicans both suck and been struggling with injuries (AD, Mirotic, Randle) The Celtics tho?
