LeBron is super scared that he will not make the playoffs in the west. Eight straight NBA Finals appearances are nice. But could not even making the playoffs in the west? Ouch!
Last night again its everyone else and since when did this guy start sounding like a 14 yr old girl? "At this point if you are still allowing distractions to affect how the way you play, then this is the wrong franchise to be a part of and you should just come and be like, 'Listen, I don't [think this is for me]. I cannot do this,'"
He brought in vets that listens to him but are all ass. He then lost all of the young players--the ones with actual talent--via that whole AD mess. The Lakers will probably lose out on the big free agents because no one is going to want a piece of this dramafest unless they are going to get severely overpaid.
The Lakers may also lose out because there's another team in LA that's in much better shape culturally and has just as much capspace. I mean, if your desire is simply to live in that city and you're not preoccupied with playing for that particular franchise, why not just sign with the Clippers? They have a good owner now, they're in the exact same town and building, they have a much better coach, and the foundation seems a lot stronger. There's a far better chance they'll be in the playoffs this season than the Lakers.
For sure. Ownership right now favors Ballmer over the Buss kids. Management? West/Frank is a much better duo in terms of team building and management of assets than Magic/Pelinka. Coaching? I hate Rivers but he's still light years better than Walton. The only thing that gives the Clippers a bad rep is their name that's attached to their historical failures before Lob City lol. You can name them the Los Angeles Knights and everyone would flock to that franchise.
