Whoever wins the primary will change their tune. They are just trying to appeal to their insane base.
Because they are angry at government and thought an outsider would shake things up, but they elected a con man instead. Smart and intelligent people saw through his bullshit and researched his history and knew he was a con artist. Most just voted for their party, because...without doing any research..... DD
I agree with you on Trump. The issue I have is she is as ignorant as him and despite calling her a "junior congresswoman" she has a lot of support and people who blindly follow her. She is the female Trump and it's scary because I could see people one day electing her. She's a complete an utter buffoon.

She have issues where she's ignorant like Trump, but she doesn't have Trump's frequency of lying, she doesn't have Trump's history of fraud, she doesn't have Trump's history and current levels of corruption, she doesn't have Trump's history of lacking intellectual curiosity. She only is close to Trump's level of being ignorant on some of the issues. So basically she is no where close to being the female version of Trump.
I suspect that AOC will also change her opinion through her years of experience in Congress. While Trump's very, very large brain probably still thinks that trade wars are easy to win.
Cant speak for the conservatives but I can speak for myself - the Independent voter. I don't see criticizing her as giving her more power tho it does give her …. exposure / attention. A lot of that is negative but its like water off a ducks back to her ,and she comes off as sincere and passionate about her the cause be that climate change or income inequality and a lot of people are foolish enough to believe in her solution because they fear the outcome of climate change or are envious of those who have more. Her solutions really aren't solutions … they are wishful thinking. People have forgotten what history has taught them ….

Then quit giving her so much f***ing attention. If the right would just stop nitpicking every word she says out loud and doing stupid s*** like opining on the cost of her outfits, maybe the spotlight would dim a bit.
But, then, who would be the boogeyman (or woman) for the right? They have to have somebody to focus their attention on and make themselves feel good about voting Republican.
