An active NBA player does not function like the average human. They sleep more, work out a ton, and if you're PJ Tucker you eat a stick of butter and 3 pounds of pancakes daily.
These are the games that worry me. Please just put in the effort and energy as we did against the Warriors and we'll be fine.
Normally I would be worried but this is the Hawks. Literally no chance the Rox lose this game Trae "Curry" Young is gonna win the game for us. Plus Rockets just stumbled into the Big Booty b****es lineup so if they roll out Capela, Faried and Tucker I expect a 10+ rebound disparity lol. What I like abiut these 3 is their offense may come and go but their defense and rebounding will always be there. Rox literally have no chance of losing this one if MDA unleashes our big boys.
This makes his acquisition all the more suspicious. I wonder if he didn't come as damaged goods. Does anyone recall an incident while here that he was injured?
Thing I most want to see tonight: Get a large first-half lead KEEP A LARGE LEAD Play well in all four quarters, not just the first and maybe one more The Hawks, being a bottom 7 offense and bottom 7 defense, should be a good test ground for our efforts to be more steady.
Nothing would epitomize this season more than if the Rockets dropped a game at home to the lowly Hawks right after a road win against GS.
With Paul healthy and our role-players most likely very confident from winning against the Warriors, I have faith that we'll finally see a boring win. I understand that Faried's 3 pointers are nowhere near consistent, but it's exciting to watch his game develop with the Rockets. He and Capela plus Tucker at the 3 spot can out rebound anybody, and with Paul and Harden (two excellent rebounding guards) we can finally start to control the glass Cervical strains are no joke. I've had one myself as a teenager from falling while rock-climbing and I couldn't do anything for a few days. What's the singular term for cervical vertebra, cervix? A strained cervix? Or is that something else? Well anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the Rockets dominate!
One article I read said that it's a lingering effect from his knee surgery last year, so yes, one could say he came as damaged goods. I remember him holding his knee in one of his first games with us. Kept playing in that game but then all of a sudden disappeared out of the rotation.
