It sounds a lot like the type of tweets the President of the United States makes. Maybe they should compare notes.
This girl is gonna run out of steam, and the country is gonna tune her out before any possible run a decade from now. On a personal level I like her, she has an attitude and seems like she genuinely wants whats best. But her whole shtick is so extreme and so wide eyed it's impossible to take her seriously, even in this anybody but Trump atmosphere. I hope she realizes she needs to soften her platform so it's more paletteable for the mainstream voter, and frankly she needs to be much, much more pragmatic. You have to play the game. Don't think she's capable of that, and that's why I don't think she'll succeed long term.
as a leading voice? That depends more on reaction to her than on her. as capable of winning re-election? Her district is 48% Hispanic, 52% under 40. Until someone can primary her (I would young and similar to her style) or she move on, she's not at risk.
in the primary only 11% of total voters participated, she got 15,000 votes out of 25,000 registered voters who actually voted. If she keeps acting like this, pretty sure the national DNC is going to find someone to run against her
The problem is taking that literally. Of course she's not the boss of anything. She represents a district and she's one of the few voices going out on a limb with a new message that few dares to try. Until someone else got some other ideas, that is all you got to talk about. Since people think her deal is dumb and dangerous, but why aren't they offering any other solution? BAD IDEA BAD IDEA BAD IDEA. And I got no idea myself. Just sad really. There are plenty of ideas, and these people in power need to have the courage to speak to them (especially those on the right - as I said before, market based solution would win over many). They are too scared to and all they do is shot down other ideas -- it's the easy thing to do.
