You're not wrong. Harden loves the limelight. The streak is hurting the team because the offense becomes stagnant. Why play your ass off just to see your teammate play selfishly? I promise you it get's old. What Harden has accomplished individually is amazing BUT hoisting a trophy will make him the legend he seeks to be.

MDA's decisions were on point all game long, time management and rotations.

    1. Even during the Lakers game, I was immediately impressed at how "seamless" Faried has played with Clint on the court at the same time. Tonight, in a much higher-stakes matchup, confirms the belief that he should start the rest of the way.

    2. With the addition of Faried, I wholeheartedly agree that PJ should be starting as the permanent SF. The presumed starting lineup should be CP3, James, PJ, Faried, and Clint. That wrinkle worked well last year, but playing full-time PF has clearly been more taxing physically on PJ. The rebounding will improve tremendously and minimize 2nd Chance possessions for the opponents. With that proposed lineup, EG goes back to the bench in a 6th man role.

    3. For all the talk of the Cousins' signing, he is "the one to attack" when CP3 or James has the ball. He was at CP's mercy on PnR plays tonight. He has no lateral movement to keep up. As Zergling mentioned, he was a game-low -17 in +/- for all players tonight to the point that Kerr willingly played Bell over Cousins in the 4th Quarter. Kerr even knows that had Cousins played the lions share of C minutes in the 4th, CP would have simply PnR'd to death without an answer on defense.

Was browsing the Warriors Reddit thread and saw this post...

'Rockets front office is so much more aggressive in improving their roster. Literally got Danuel House, Austin Rivers, and Faried for minimum deals. 3 playoff rotation players for minimum players. What was Myers doing while every other team is doing everything they can to improve their bench?'

Got a good laugh from me seeing how everyone complains about the Rockets doing nothing around trade deadline.

Proud of this team tonight. U of H won too. One of the best Saturday's I've had in a while.

No way. A guy like P.J. Tucker that does all the little things (screens, communicating on defense, fighting for loose balls, etc) and relies on playmakers like CP3 and Harden to get him open looks from three is going to be much more impactful as a starter playing next to them. You also want him guarding the opponent’s best wing. He won’t be doing that from the bench.

Gordon, on the other hand, can get his own shot and create offense for himself and others. While he’s definitely a starting-caliber player, he’s still going to be very productive in a bench role.

That's a lie, they lost their last game before the All Star break.

If CP hadn't gone down in the WCF last year we likely would have taken them down.
I SO BADLY want us to take them down WITH Durant before he leaves.

Didn't get to watch but the last quarter or so of the game.....was stunned at winning w/o Jimmy playing. It sure didn't take long to show me how wrong I was that we can't win without Jimmy playing. Also, where has the PJ Tucker been hiding ? Even Nene looked like a different player out there. CP3 looked like a leader and has been playing with renewed vigor...certainly doesn't like like the old man I had talked about....if he can just stay HEALTHY. Still concerned about his durability.Golden State looked like we did against the Lakers last game. We WANTED it more than they did and played like it. It showed too.We need to bring it like this every night. And as good and proud as I was tonight, we still need Jimmy to win..he's still the heart and soul of our team. The only thing a team can control is EFFORT and that was in plentiful supply tonight.

Iguodala airballing that free throw was one of the great highlights of the night. :D

You did have a great Saturday ! The Rockets winning helped cap off the day on a good note for me....Kentucky absolutely embarrassed Auburn on national tv.

You'd be surprised at how many Warrior fans complain about Kerr and their FO...although I wonder if those are actually 'fans' of the team...
Spurs fans are the same way with Popovic...

And hell...too many Rocket fans don't appreciate Harden.

    Grass is always greener mentality.

Its funny bc our biggest threat this year is a team like Denver or Sacramento, not GS
