Terrence, is that really you? This thread is so surreal I question if it is reality.

 

Tjones is still talented but he's not a 4 in this system. He's a 5.

We still need a 4 to backup PJ.

 

I personally kinda like the idea of a 4/5 combo with Faried and T-Jones. It'll probably suck but I want to see it.

 

I hear you. I just don't believe that Jones can bring anything of significance even with limited minutes.

Daryl Morey selected Jeremy Lamb(traded in package for Harden), Royce "No Flight" White, Terrence Jones over Draymond Green. That is how bad Daryl is in drafting and scouting.

Our Front Office really needs new scouts, new hiring, Former Players that recognizes young talent in High School, College, University Levels

 

I will say I always thought he was a pretty good fit as a backup 4/5. Versatile enough to be a slow shooting stretch 4 or a small ball 5. I really don't see why he can't provide the 15 minutes off the bench we need but I am sure I am just being optimistic. Other teams would have signed him sooner but hopefully he is like House where he has just been overlooked for one reason or another and just needs the opportunity to prove himself again.

He is shooting 38% from 3 in G-league at 3.6 attempts a game. Pretty solid. If he could shoot around 35% or more on open threes I think it would be a good fit. I really hope MDA plays him.
