Going out with an ex is a waste of time. Ask each other how you've both sunk so low and be done with it.
I've done it with multiple exes. I'm usually friends with most later on. What can I say? I typically treat them like a gentleman and they get an urge to come back; sometimes only as friends, and sometimes for more. HS girlfriend: Haven't heard or seen her since HS. Considering FB, I think that's odd. Prom date: Never hooked up again, but we've hung out as recently as the past few years. College GF: We've hooked up a few times, even when she's been married. She still calls when she's had some wine... Ex-wife: Called me a few years ago seeing if we could hook up again. That was weird. I said yes just to piss off her current husband, but it never panned out & we don't talk anymore. That one is crazy. 2002 GF: Never rehooked up, but I've been out with her husband (she just referred to me as her friend) She also works for media, so I'll see her in the media booth at Astros games. 2008 GF: We broke up & got together so much it was bad; we were hooking up when she was engaged to a guy after our breakup. She lives in San Diego now & pissed me off enough to where I doubt I'll see her again. 2017 GF: That was the one I just saw again. Maybe this is odd, but it's been pretty par for the course with me.
Why? Sometimes it better just to be alone than rehearsing things that don’t work. IF you were to run into each other be cordial but move on quickly. Hitting it one more time is just not worth it. I think most of us could go backwards in life and hook up but why? It doesn’t work and there is a reason. The reason is bigger than both or you would still be together. Move on the memory is better than what is actual. _> If she is looking for a larger alpha than don’t let here drive you around.
Growing up in Montana, my best friend Sean had an Uncle Danny. Uncle Danny was always a bit weird but hung out with us for an hour or two at a time while he'd come to buy weed off of us. Uncle Danny was a short man with long curly brown hair and eternal stubble. Always a bit rough looking and always sporting a craft brew themed shirt and a raggedy golf hat. This guy was a chess genius but fairly poor as he lived off of inheritance. I always associate this image with fatty while reading his brilliance. DD
