Same here. Bernie is not perfect, but he is as genuine as they come in a profession filled with posers, lists, and backstabbing crooks.

I did caucus for him in Nevada and will likely do it again.

I would be happy with Bernie or Andrew Yang to win. Though I prefer Yang, he is far and away the most economically astute of any candidate.

Bernie-Yang ballot would be a wet dream.

His only mistake was not burying it completely.

I don't feel the BERN as much as last time because of his age. But I'm still onboard!

Too old, too far left. I think the democrats need more of an establishment candidate ala Booker, Harris, Klobuchar, maybe Beto, etc rather than a Bernie or Warren.

    Bernie campaign ad! lol

"Change never comes from the Top down"

Is in favor of a centralized government.

I don’t think they need an “establishment” candidate but more of a moderate. The GND was a joke.

Then Trump supporters would love Bernie....

... although human nature is loving more executive power when it’s your guy.

Warren comes off as a better policy wonk while Bernie comes off as your hippy grandfather with a lot of big ideas.

Biden will run soon when the Dems give him the go to announce. He's their guy and his polling is way better than any of the other candidates.

Yeah I agree. They would be wise to go with someone who is moderate and can play well across the aisle. After this latest shutdown fiasco, people need faith that the parties can work together in a greater capacity than the mess we have now. Someone poised, professional, and respected; the antithesis of Trump rather than someone flashing lofty/unrealistic goals. I forgot to include Biden (I wanted him to run in 2016) but age may also be a knock against him.

Now there is a fine distinction worthy of the typical corporate Democrat. "I am running for president, not as an establishment Democrat; I am a moderate." Maybe they can recycle Hillary's "America's already great" as a slogan."

Check RCP. They are showing aggregates of some early polling and he is miles ahead of the other Dems. He is also a serious enough threat to be polled without announcing yet because... they know.

Warren also comes off as much less of a leader and wonkiness is not necessarily that great as a candidate. I really think what certainly appears as her attempt to misuse a claim to be an American Indian is especially detrimental if she should get the nomination, but can be less of a problem as a vice president. I find it offensive as a white male who supports affirmative action, but I see many white Americans go bananas over the issue.
As far as being a hippy, Sanders has worked his ass off for 40 years as a politician (not very hippy like imho) and except for Biden has more experience than any of the other candidates.

It all depends if you prefer complaining from the sidelines or winning.

    Neither scream leader.

Obviously I wasn’t disparaging Bernie’s work ethic but more of his ideas and how you actually implement them in a viable way...

Oh. And obviously the GOP will be showing riots in Venezuela and France every time someone mentions socialism or climate change.

You seemed to sidestep the question... what if you favor more moderate policies like those espoused by Amy Klobuchar?
