I sense that you are a partisan on the issue, and one that cannot be reasoned with.

That said, why can't what I see with my eyes be relevant to the matter?

I'm a realist and one that can recognize that this isn't anywhere close to the issue that it was 15 years ago. Seriously, if this is the crisis that you're making it out to be, where is the hard evidence? Where is that data showing that more people cross the border now than ever before? Where's the evidence that illegal immigrants are more violent than the average person? If it's such a crisis then the evidence should be damning yet I see next to nothing except fear-mongering and cherry-picked examples used to push an agenda.

Its funny how "asylum seeker" sounds like a bad word when some people say it. Like you're talking about "hoodlums" or "gangsters" or something. As a reminder, an asylum seeker is a refugee who comes to ask for shelter and help. Pretty much by definition an asylum seeker is not a prospective border jumper, illegal immigrant, or other sort of ne'er-do-well. If you're seeking asylum then you are following the rules. They cross the border to look for a border agent to surrender to. If they're dodging CBP then they aren't asylum seekers at all. While I'm at it, these scary caravans -- they are caravans of asylum seekers. Big groups of people looking to follow the rules. So scary.

So "Sicario: Day of the Soldado" recently started showing on Showtime or whatever and there's a scene early in the movie where terrorists cross the Rio Grande and are kneeling on prayer rugs and blow themselves up and so on and so forth.

Will someone tell Trump it's just a movie? Or is he going to obey every directive from Vice President Hannity?

    You missed the entire point.

The point isn't about building a sea to shining sea wall.

The point is "Do we have a crisis" or is this some manufactured bullsh!t.

I think when you take into consideration the facts - 11m-26m illegals residing in America and thousands more being apprehended on a daily basis . there's an argument that its a crisis.

The BP did in fact request those things you suggest - drones , sensors , K9 and more boots on the ground along with 220miles of strategically placed physical barriers. And the heads of that department are national security experts and civil engineers …. They got 55 miles of barriers from that bipartisan bill Trump just signed to avoid another shutdown.

I'm not stating that I agree with Trump's action in declaration of a national emergency. What I am stating is that our southern border is a hot mess and has been for the better part of the last 35 years and that our Congress has failed in solving the issue. Its well past time we solved the "problem".

Again with the audacity, to use the word constitution in your argument when your lunatic party wants to do away with the very first two amendments(hilarious) All I can say is you had to choose sides and you made yet another bad decision, don’t keep doubling down.

    I would beg to differ.

Are we -so sure- that these are different people?

Are we -so sure- that someone that might decide to go through the asylum process in one set of conditions, might not just to decide to say F it and enter illegally?

    I'm not sure at all.

Because asylum seekers most likely aren't always asylum seekers. That is to say, asylum seekers -- in the right set of conditions -- (can and probably do) become illegal immigrants.

So how does a wall solve any of that?

Now he can say liberal judges stopped him
and campaign on COMPLETE THE WALL slogan

The reason he wants the wall so bad is to funnel money into his friends
