I'm hearing some despondent Trump supporters on YT. The feeling is that the God Emperor has sold them out.

 

Overall, 56 percent oppose a wall and 39 percent favor it in the CNN poll -- similar numbers in December. In the ABC/Washington Post poll, 54 percent disapprove building the wall and 42 percent said they approve it.

The majority of America actually oppose the wall. The guy literally shutdown the government for 35 days to try to get 5.7B for his wall. There was a deal that both Republicans and Democratics agreed to before the shutdown that included 1.6B for his wall. He said he would agreed to it and then he listened to the conservatives on Twitter and backed out. He shutdown and tried to get things his way, that's not how things work. That's why Democratics refused to do anything with him during the shutdown.

You talked about all the investigations. Are you serious? He has 6 of his people that got caught and going to prison and there's building evidence that there's a lot more in the works soon for the Trump campaign. Whitaker is gonna be subpenoed. Donald JR is expected to be indicted and Ivanka might get questioned also. So yea the investigations are appropriate for how shady the Trump campaign is.

 

I'm pretty sure walls approval will jump to fifty if there's some border scandal that's real or imaginary.

If the Fox News base buys the BS that Hannity and co are about to sell them then we really do deserve Trump as a president in this county and deserve all the bad things that will come out of this presidency. We live amongst complete idiots if that is the case.

I said this a month or so ago.

Dems wanted him to do this. I think they baited him to do it all along. I know it seems like 4D chess but this is Trump, he threatened to do it and once he put that on the table Dems decided to just play hardball and dare him to do it. A lot of what they said in the press about it has basically been "Go ahead, do it."

I know this will play well to his base, but really, nearly everything plays well with his base. He could physically attack Pelosi on live TV and it would play well with his base. I think this will hurt him among any moderate republicans that are left...along with everything else he's failed to do.

It is kind of amusing that this is over such a relatively small amount of funding. It's just a pissing contest at this point.

on a serious note what the **** happened to the gop and small government? Since when was the GOP okay with an over reach from a sitting president? This is a completely serious question. What the **** has happened to the republican party? They do know that the next time theres a democrat in office and theres a massive shootout that they are giving precedence for a president for this sort of over reach?
