We can get both and stay under the tax! Just have to time things right (Tolliver now, Morris in late-February). However, there is a risk that Morris wouldn't agree to sign here if he sees a crowded rotation.
Sounds like the Rockets have no interest in him though. Cod said there was some interest in him, whether that was from management or the players, I don't know.
Man, idk I'll take him. If the Clippers agree to a buy out, and he got healthy, he would be amazing for us. I know he gets injured alot but Im super high on how well he made our defense last year.
I think it needs 14 rosters by February 21. It is expensive to pay 2.4 million to buyout players like Ellington.
Toliver is an interesting guy to consider. He isn't an especially good athlete, but he does have a 7'3" wingspan and can shoot 3's (in fact that is basically all he shoots). Defensively he is good inside. I am a little concerned about how well he does on the perimeter on switches.
Tolliver can make the open 3 consistently and offers some size. Morris could be a great 4 to put next to Cap if healthy, but his bro is tweeting out some obscure stuff that could lead to them teaming up in Boston which for Keef, still satisfies the need to be on a contender PLUS play with his twin brother? Too good to pass up.
