Okay, so you should know that a training staff really has no way to know if someone is faking being "sore". Soreness doesn't show up on an x-ray or MRI. It's entirely dependent on what the patient claims. I mean if you were in the military especially a direct combat unit you would understand the concept of "broke dick". What branch may I ask? Got your CIB or your CAR?
Airborne regiment/ paratrooper and thankfully retierd . Also It shows up when they start checking you’r movements. If you are making up an injury they can tell straight away . If you watched the game he was clearly bothered by it
No they really can't. Soreness is such a vague terminology that can't be diagnosed from MRIs or x-rays. A person can easily fake grimaces. Harden's shooting motion after his sore shoulder was as smooth and effortless as before his soreness. So either he can ignore that pain when shooting which directly involved the shoulder or he's exaggerating his soreness. I'm sure at this point in the season every player has some form of "soreness". Also, is airborne considered special forces? I'm not even sure Ranger regiments are considered special forces. Green Berets aka "special forces" are part of SOCOM but I don't think Airborne is.
I'll leave it at this. If Harden has a legitimate shoulder injury, he should take a week off and heal it instead of playing and exacerbating it. It does no good to this team if he worsens his shoulder injury. I would rather have him miss a week than worsen it to a point where he can't play at the end of the season or even worse, during the playoffs. The season is essentially over if Harden misses extended time.
Airborne regiment is considerd part of the special forces. They usually plug out the elite soldiers of the infantry and weed out the candidates till there is a very few are left. Usually out of 500 to 700 only 3 are selected. The training varies because you need to be trained in various combat theaters . Be it mountains ,water, desert or urban areas.
Harden plys through ankle turns that would have most guys out for weeks Harden is tough like kobe, twack would have for sure missed the next few games with this injury but not harden
You are so ridiculously naive & stupid. We have all literally seen James Harden roll his ankle. We have seen his ankle roll badly. Anyone that's rolled his ankle like that knows there are lingering painful effects & soreness. We've seen Harden roll his ankle, hold it in pain, get up whilest barely able to put pressure on it and not even two minutes later sprint through the lanes for another bucket like it was no biggie.. only for him to need ice, heat, therapy, and stretching on the bench where he grimaced and showed pain. He faked that too? Fine. We have all seen Capela tear a ligament in his thumb. We saw his initial painful reaction. You know it had to hurt. Under a Dr. evaluation he was like 'You got to get surgery'. Well after that injury Capela continued to play that game. In between being on the court, when Capela was sitting on the bench he was grimacing and holding his thumb. He was needing therapy. He showed he was in pain. Then back on the court he's dunking, blocking shots, and grabbing loose balls, making free throws with the same form he always uses.. all these things like there was no pain, like there was no problem with his thumb, even though bro had a torn ligament, in pain, and was further damaging it. You act like adrenaline isn't a thing. His shoulder could be seriously hurting him, that doesn't need to mess with his shot. It's very very unlikely Harden faked or exaggerated anything last night. I say this for 2 reasons. 1. He very rarely gets hurt and complains 2. We have literally witnessed him get hurt, and how he reacted on his shoulder last night is exactly how he has reacted when guys have fell into his quad, when he has rolled his ankle, when Ron Artest dirty shot him and gave him a legitimate & verified concussion. Considering how he reacted to soreness then and now in regards to bench therapy and court play I'd have no reason to doubt the extent of pain/soreness he was feeling. No exaggeration.
Get your tin foil hats ready. LAbrun snubbed him by picking free agents. The east MVP aka not MVP snubbed him by ignoring him. So Harden goes on national television with a shoulder pack. Excuse fabricated. Now he “needs to rest” during all star week. Fortunately, he’ll be able to “tough it out” until all star break. He’ll get some of those “extra treatments”. Maybe the suction cup thing again, come back rested and dominant for the push to playoffs. Good thing CP just happened to turn it on last night eh?
Harden never tries in the all star game, I don't think we have to worry about his injuring himself playing too hard lol.
Keeping in mind this has nothing to do with basketball, the UK's Parachute Regiment, which I believe the quoted poster may be referring to, is a different critter than either the United States Army's 82nd Airborne or 101st Airborne Divisions. Per the wiki, the first battalion of the Parachute Regiment is under the command of the Director, Special Forces, in the Special Forces Support Group. In the United States Army, OTOH, the right to wear the Special Forces 'tab' is reserved for those personnel who've completed either the Special Forces Qualification Course or the SF Detachment Officer Qualification Course. Green Berets, colloquially. Different group of people than those in the USA's Airborne Divisions, though I want to say that completion of the Q Course implies completion of Airborne school as well. Back to basketball. Has Harden had an MRI yet? How bad's his shoulder?
I find it really hard to believe that Harden would pretend to be injured the entire game. I've noticed that sometimes he's a little slow to get up after a hard foul. But, he seemed to bothered by something last night with his shoulder and I don't think he was faking anything.
