Anyone know what it was ?

Anyone willing to massage it for him?

After he busted his shoulder late in the second quarter he was never the same. He was missing uncharacteristic layups and had no arc on his three ball. He was grimacing all night and at every rest or timeout he had it worked on. The ice pack after the game screams muscle damage.i would rest him for the Dallas game and maybe even the Minny game.

The sad thing is this was tailor made for Paul or Gordon to finally step up this year and help Harden out in the clutch but both were flops. It’s scary how much we have to hope he is in continuous god mode or we are screwed

It’s from repetive-stress syndrome, caused by too many threes.

Similar to Gordon getting lock-jaw from complaining too much.

Good excuse to get some rest. F the ASG... He should just enjoy the festivities and not play in the game.

And make sure he doesnt pick up any plus size strippers that might mess his shoulder up more.

Man am I going to get absolutely hated for this comment but I see a pattern with Harden.

When he gets two or three consecutive drives where he doesn't get the call, he magically becomes "injuried". This is a pattern of Harden's I've noticed over the course of 7 seasons with us.

I'm sure other objective fans here have noticed that Harden grimaces or stays on the ground rolling over in "pain" only after a ref doesn't give him a call.

Harden ran into the bigger Steven Adams and got injured. There is no other reason for this. Harden is a much more mature player now. He is hitting floaters with greater consistency, because he knows the referees won't give him the benefit of the doubt.

I mean even if I give you that .

The whole team was in on it ? The training staff put a heating pad and was working on his shoulder . What did James tell them ," I'm ok , just make t look like you are treating me so the refs call fouls ." ?

Read the tweet below. These injuries right after a missed foul always lead to "he's hurt but he'll play" and what do you expect the training staff to say? "He's making **** up?"

So it's only the complete homer fans who think when Harden grimaces or stays on the ground that he might actually be in pain?

Even if you were right, which is debatable, give me a superstar who "magically" gets fake-injured and rolls on the ground in pretend pain when he doesn't get a call, but almost never misses time with an actual injury. Compare Harden shaking off ACTUAL rolled ankles time and time again, rarely even leaving the game, to others who miss considerable time for similar injuries.

Assuming Harden plays the last 30 games this year, he'll have averaged 77 games a year for 10 years now. In his most injured season ever (his last with OKC), he still played in 75% of his team's games. Kyrie, AD, Kawhi, Embiid, etc. can't say the same.

I'll take the guy who you seem to think is a drama queen. I don't care if he's out there performing the soliloquy from Hamlet is he stays on the court and averages 40 ppg.

He just has a history of flailing on the floor with immense pain right after a percieved Miss call where it seems like a season ender and he gets back up and starts playing. It happens a lot.

How do you explain the ice pad after the game or the continuous work done it all throughout the game. You have taken your all to obvious harden trolling to a whole new level.

If he is hurt, rest him for Dallas and Minny and then he can sit the ASG. We can win those 2 without him or at least I hope.

One of the biggest issues with Harden is when he thinks the refs miss a call he takes the next 3 defensive possessions off b****ing to the ref. It's a very bad look . The team goes into free fall when Harden gets upset at the refs. He just refuses to play during those times.

I'm more inclined to agree with your take here, but that's completely different from the one you claimed originally.

Dude, you've never been a part of some sort of group athletic team or proffesion. If I told my corpsman my knees are sore, there is literally no way he can tell if I'm making **** up and will just resort to placing an ice pack on it.

Harden gets injuried. He drives a lot but it isn't a mere coincidence that he starts flailing on the ground in immense pain only after missed calls.

Sometimes absolutely. I'm sure plenty of times when he's lying on the floor in severe grimace which coincidentally happened right after when he percieves a missed call he was exaggerating his pain level . He also tends to do it on blown lay ups where it's embarrassing for a superstar guard to miss that blown lay up .

I’ve been part of the special forces jackass. Plus I’ve done countless pro/amateur bodybuilding competitions. I don’t need some little Asian nerd telling me about athletic comps. I’ve spent more time in the gym then you probaly been alive
