Speaking of another piece of ****, how are the EURO party meetings going? Membership up? I would think with less emphasis on terrorism that membership would be down a little.

Better than a "Rojo New Deal" right?

You are a flunky of politically history. Finally a democrat has realized that the merits and technical feasibility of an idea doesn't matter. A page taken from the recent right-wing of the country and history in general which is filled with bold ideas that were impossible or seemingly impossible but acheived a resulting change even if not exactly what was originally put in words.

AOC is being a politician, not a policy wonk which got Hillary Clinton so very far right?

I'd think it's more of a "WTF, why can't we talk about realistic things?"

They have scared all the millennials(and many people who should know better) into believing the planet is imminently doomed because of "climate change" if we do no act right now and surprise the way to "save" the planet is socialism. I have to hand it to the left, they have played the long game with this and as the older generations die off they will more than likely eventually get their way. The tried to start it back in the 70's with the coming ice age and when it starting warming they started latching onto "global warming" and then did the bait and switch and just called it "climate change" when the warming cycle we were in started to cycle the other way. Now with "climate change" any and all bad weather is because of this big bad boogie man. They long ago hijacked the educational system teaching this crap with a willing media pushing the doom and gloom daily. They say anyone who doesn't believe does not believe in science. The youngsters really have/had no chance if their parents do not teach them better.

I feel like for whatever reason, Trumpism has allowed the 40% to now ignorantly disregard anything and everything you want to anytime you want.

Climate Change reality isn’t a partisan issue but you ignorant Trumpers are the ones who decided to make it one. Even George freakin W accepted and encouraged action on climate change. You guy realize how purposefully ignorant you have become?

Climate change may not be a partisan issue but climate change policy clearly is. Which one are you talking about?

Also the GND does not eliminate Air Travel. Even Tucker Carlson got fact checked on this live on air the other night when he tried to use this line circulating on the right wing twitter sphere.

The GND is a pledge. It’s not law. Why would you not pledge to move towards clean energy infrastructure? Has nothing to do with socialism and actually is very capitalistic in the nature that it addresses the market needs to push towards multiple innovative OPTIONS that drive competition which ultimately benefit the consumer with a better product at a better price. Why would you not want high speed rails? That’s a CHOICE. Why would you not want more American auto companies adding electric or hybrid cars??.. that’s another CHOICE in the market.

Clean Energy infrastructure adds choices and spurs innovation and efficiency. This is capitalism you bone heads. It’s only when a Democrat offers up a solution that it then becomes SOCIALISM!! The only way it’s viewed as good policy is if a billionaire with pockets lined with oil money suggests it to you.

You Trumpers have lost your damn minds. Uncle Ronald Reagan is stirring in his grave right now watching you disregard and demonize capitalism.

It's so sad to see people like yourself reject science and believe in propaganda like this. I wonder if you will ever come to the realization you were so very wrong.

Curious. What is your educational background? I only ask because you've made a claim about how modern students learn in STEM fields.

I don't understand why anything @cml750 said in that post can be taken to suggest "people like yourself reject science." that's just an astounding conclusion.

Umm he is making claims to discredit scientists by bringing up an article from the 70s about "global cooling"? What exactly was his premise in making that claim? Was it not to reject the claims of current scientists?

even if he IS saying those things to reject specific "claims" of scientists, that is a far cry from "reject science", no?

Except he is using an article from the 70s from an author who didn't have a science background who misinterpreted a scientific study. It's been discussed multiple times and the same science deniers keep on regurgittating it like hive mind zombies.
