Yeah sorry y'all . I made this thread under the hope that the rockets were saving MLE in order to be the highest bidder if a good player came on the market . IMO that was the only reason that we hadn't given some to house yet to lock him up for 3 years . Oops Looks like I forgot tilman wanted to be "proactive" avoiding the repeated tax hahaha. There is no way we pay the LT the next 3 consecutive years .
I get that Ellington had a nice shooting year last year, but the Rockets are stacked at the guard/swingman position. Not sure how Ellington and Wes Matthews types would have gotten minutes. Rockets desperately need depth behind PJ Tucker. Not only to avoid having to play small ball when he sits but also to get Tucker back to being as productive as he was earlier in the year. The heavy minutes and workload on defense has gotten to him, and it's evident in his shooting.
Yep, not shocking after what happened with Matthews, Pistons are trash but they just traded Stanley and Bullock so, he can get minutes to play for his next contract there. Well, we're not exactly thin at the guards/wings anyway, we need a 4 more than anything.
According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, the Lakers have interest in signing forward Markieff Morris if he is healthy. Morris was ruled out at least six weeks in early January due to a neck injury (transient cervical neuropraxia). The Wizards traded him to the Pelicans prior to the deadline, but the Pels are releasing him. Assuming he gets a clean bill of health later this month, he will have plenty of interested suitors.
They aren’t even all that wes has been horrible from 3 lately. Ennis was cool just was playing too many mins. House and keef are who we need if keef is healthy.
Ok, so who's left? Or rumored to be waived or bought out? Zbo DeAndre? Dedmon? Markieff Parsons? R Lopez? .....
