I would imagine Markieff has a good impression of the Rockets, hell we traded his brother to Phoenix a few years ago so they could be together.

Is a no brainer if the Rockets don't go after Markieff Morris. The Rockets really need depth at power forward.

Markieff Morris is represented by agent Rich Paul and Lutch Sports Group.

    Does LeBron want him?

Kief would be a great get.

If we were to get Kief and then bring back House, AND save $$ on the tax, I'd be pretty happy.

    Harden/ Rivers
    Paul/ Gordon
    Shumpert/ House
    Tuck/ Kief
    Capela/ Faried

That's a reasonably good rotation isn't it? 2 star level players, 2 very good starters, 5 legit starters and an up and comer.

Morris would be great if healthy. Unfortunately he isn’t healthy

Correct me if I’m wrong but the Rockets can’t sign him either or we will be paying the luxury tax right? We had to trade nene’s contract in order to have room.

Think I read somewhere that players signed from the buyout pool don’t count against the LT.

The fact that he’s been out for 6 weeks and is now seeking a second opinion doesn’t bode well.

That may have been window dressing to get released.

On the cheap, maybe Kaminsky as a spread 5? Could pair him with Faried at the 4 in the second unit so we always have a shooter and a roll man in the frontcourt. Not a great rebounder, decent passer. Would be nice to have someone over 6'8 on the court besides just Capella (when he returns).

We have 3 empty roster spots and have less than $700k to spend. Even prorated that doesn't work out.

You can stretch Nene and create some more room. I bet they're looking at that.

This may help with the Rockets main goal: staying under the luxury tax line.
