This won't go over well, but if we can upgrade our team while getting under the LT line, we should do it. Shumpert is better than Ennis, and I don't even wanna hear otherwise when everybody has been b****ing about his shitty play all year. Knight can't play and Chriss is the worst player I have ever seen. If we don't snatch up some of these prime buyout guys though, that would be shameful.
He is? Then what's the plan to replace Ennis? I have no problem with Shumpert getting his minutes, but we can't sacrifice all our depth just to save Tilman a bunch of money. Remember, EG is injury prone. And Green is a decent scorer, but can't defend. Who's our other option at the 3? Are we really gonna count on Gary Clark to play meaningful minutes? There better be another move coming.
there's an open roster spot. of course there's atleast 1 move coming. whether its buyout or trade. relax. the sky isn't falling
Good trade Ennis was a consistent three point scorer and semi good slasher.. but he didn't fit for whatever reason.. He was a player we had to give minutes to, but when he was on the floor he made the team worse. Glad we will not be wasting anymore mins on him, gives someone else the chance to step up. We were better when he was injured.. man it'd be nice to have House back.
What are the layups? Not signing players? Like what is the alternative. Faried and Rivers have played decently enough for us. They are good as backups. Also Shumpert has good some good defensive metrics over the past 5 years...I think i saw someone do a cumulative DRPM of the past 5 years thing on here and he was top 4(a it is defensive RPM so you can choose to disregard it, i dont mind, Im just showing you that there are good metrics about him). Really ...the worst defensive in the NBA? Are you sure about that. Gonna need for you to explain that one.
At first I was like "who'd we get back". I saw it was nobody and then was like... "um" But then though about it for 1 second and was like "ok!" Ennis has been meh. The season has been meh. As I noted in my Harden PPG watch thread, that's what I'm going to remember from this season when all is said and done. That's what everyone will remember. Sign House, or pick up someone else, maybe make a run to the WCF, and remember Harden's historic season.
