i guess that rules out making big offers like four 1st rounders for studs. Part of me wondered if Capela, four 1st rounders and Eric Gordon (which the Pels then move for another asset) would have gotten Anthony Davis done. I guess not.
This has to be about Memphis. Lots of reports today about lengthy negotiations involving Jaymichal Green, and my sense is that they had a deal in place and then the Grizzlies reneged and turned around with a higher asking price. Just a guess.
