Has Gordon been healthier as a Rocket than Pelican? yes.

yes, his first year with the team he had almost career levels of games played. However, in the next two seasons (including the one we are in), he has missed ~20% of the regular season games.

So, I'm not sure we can point to Gordon as a success story and proof as to why Gallo will be healthy in Houston.

Gordon has been a critical piece of this team's success over the past 3 years. If Gallo can provide a similar scoring punch, I think it's well worth the risk (Knight + nominal assets). In a worst-case scenario, Gallo is expiring next year so we wouldn't be hamstrung if it didn't work out this year.

Short of offering some of our better assets (Gordon and Capela), we are limited to acquiring solid role players, or high-upside guys with question marks (Saric with consistency, Gallo with injury history).

Beverley Loves Houston, resides here in the off-season a lot. His family lives in Houston, last time he was here visiting he didn’t come out and say he wants to be back in Houston but it was implied.

However, I 100% don’t think this reunion happens by the trade deadline.

I'd love to get Pat back, i don't think we really need him and i'm against moving asset to trade for him, but if there's an open spot after trades etc and he gets bought out, i'm all for it.

I love Bev but adding another injury prone player to this already injury prone roster (minus Harden) is a terrible idea.

Sooner or later Harden is going to suffer an injury if he has to keep carrying this team, no player in the history of the league can keep doing this in the regular season without injuring themselves. Not Lebron, not Kareem, both had plenty of help and was coasting in the regular season.

Right now our goal is to add young healthy players to this team or older vet players without a history of injuries.

Did people already forget about T-mac and Yao era?
