Anthony Davis Requested Trade From Pelicans (Rockets to offer?)

I wonder to what extent Saints/Rams beef may even play into all this. Pelicans owners are Saints owners. No love lost for La La Land these days.

 

Welp. I was sorta right in that Philly is down to trade their first rounders to upgrade immediately, ha. Did not think they would land Tobias. That’s better than EG and Niko

 

I think Pelicans are being monumentally stupid right now as good as AD is nobody is gonna offer 100 picks and their first born child for him wtf.

The last stated offer was Zubac, Ingram, Kuzma, Ball and 2 first round picks and Solomon's contract. Sorry but no way in hell Boston matches that offer best is probably Tatum, Brown, Morris, Horford and 1 pick. More inportantly Ainge is a cheapass and wont offer the farm for AD when Irving isnt guaranteed to stay.

The Lakers offer is just gonna go down and not up.

 

Give me Tatum over any of the players LA have offered though, that is a kid you can build around.

Knight, Chriss, Hartenstein, Ennis, and House Jr plus 3 first rounders and 2 second rounders for Davis. Pelicans get cap relief and expiring contracts. Two young guys with potential and all the picks they could ever want. Let's do it Morey!

This exactly. The Lakers offer is a lot of volume but I wouldn't be in love with any of the players. If the Celtics are willing to include Tatum I would take him over every single player the Lakers are offering combined.

 

My favorite part of this is that Lavar Ball used to say "My son will bring back the Lakers, everyone is going to be coming to LA to play with him" he is on the trade block for everyone they want to add haha.

Same as the media overrating the Lakers picks and players. Kuzma would have been the best player in that trade but I don't think anyone would build a team around him either. Lebron and Davis on the same team in LA where most NBA players already have homes in would mean those four picks that the Pelicans wanted would be like second round picks. Morels might as well throw in 3 first rounders and 2 second rounders an autographed pair of DR34M shoes, brisket from Clyde Drexler's defunct BBQ spot, and Matt Maloney's old socks that have the NBA logo on them. Sura would surely faint.
