The Jewish concept of heaven (and Hell) is very different than Christians. And even among Jewish people there are significant differences. Many don't believe in an afterlife and don't believe it matters, focusing more on how you act while you are alive. The Torah barely mentions heaven, and focuses more on how you live your life, as more importance is placed on acts. You do good deeds out of love, not with the expectation of getting rewarded later (by going to heaven).
