Spoiler https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2019/02/lakers-close-to-acquiring-reggie-bullock.html Bullock, 27, has a $2.5MM expiring contract, so he does not impact the Lakers’ cap situation for free agency this summer. In his sixth NBA season, Bullock is averaging a career-best 12.0 PPG through 43 games and gives the Lakers some much-needed outside shooting help. He is shooting the ball at a 38.4% clip from three-point range this season, which is slightly below his career average of 39.6%. As for the Lakers, they are parting with their second-round pick (47th overall) from last year’s draft. The Ukraine native has appeared in 38 games this season, averaging a mere 3.2 PPG. Mykhailiuk, who signed a three-year, $4.56MM deal with Los Angeles, is under contract for two additional seasons for approximately $3MM.
Odd deal for Pistons, are they blowing it up? Bullock is their starting SF, he played 36 minutes tonight, dropping 19 points.
That would have made keeping Bullock all the more important IMO. Stanely Johnson is trash and now they have no SF. It seems like a pre-explosion deal.
Only real small forward the Grizzlies have is Dillon Brooks, I'd be pretty surprised if they threw him in.... and even if they can get Brooks somehow... still would have made more sense to hold onto Bullocks as a depth piece IF they are looking to be a playoff team.
Me too. Basically two 2nd rounders for Bullock, who is a wing player with good size and great three(better than anybody in our current roster not named Harden).
