Hmmmm, I’d say it depends on where the game is played. If it’s in Colorado then at least one of the Kobes misses the game due to authorities questions.....4 on 5 Now if it’s in H Town then at least one Harden shows up a little “out of sorts”, goes 15-82 but pulls it out by going 28-28 at the line. However, if our boy T Brothas is working the game it’s a push and all bets are off.
Kobe can score in more ways inside the three point line. Post up threat, more comfortable shooting off pin downs, and his superior athleticism makes him a lob threat. Harden is the better outside shooter by a fair degree, but can be flustered by physical defense on the perimeter. If we are talking peak Kobe vs peak Harden, I will go with the Kobes.
Here's what qualities I think a five clones team would need: on offense 1. Shot creation (duh) 2. Range/spacing - 5 Ben Simmons means 2-3 of them are useless on most plays when they're not in range. 3. Passing 4. Size (get rebounds, not get blocked) On defense - basically same you want with everything you want now (size, ability to guard all 5 positions/bigger players) I think that 5 LeBrons probably beats everybody? He checks every box.

This thread is a joke right? Kobe isn't close! TS% .550 for Kobe vs .610 for Harden. Kobe would be absolutely schooled! The only thing that can stop Harden getting a layup whenever he wants is plonking a big fat guy in the lane (and the refs swallowing their whistles) - how the hell is Kobe going to stop him even once?
I want to say Harden, but prime Kobe was a very good defender and would really make it tough for the Jimmy's to score.
