    I believe that they will:

    1) Acquire a significant player who will be a factor

    2) Acquire an insignificant player no one will initially care about who will turn out to be a bargain/surprise (who will leave in the summer to the vocal chagrin of fans who insist that the franchise cannot continue without him and are cheap for not breaking the bank)

    3) Somehow end up just under the luxury tax.

    I predict them to fill the gap with packing peanuts and proprietary blend. I reserve the right to this opinion until after trade deadline. I will happily eat crow otherwise. I understand they are limited but some of this should have been addressed months ago.
