Sorry if that came off as rude. I just have a friend who has a bad habit of only reading headlines and freaking out lol. Actually now that I think about it I’m surprised he hasn’t sent this story yet. I’m sure I’ll get it in a couple hours. But yeah it is ****ed up. It’s the cycle of victimization and violence. As long as he wasn’t going around bashing black people then I’m glad he expressed what he dealt with.
Pro tip: when you find yourself typing "super disturbing" in your thread title, and/or the story involves any sort of racism, Hangout might not be your best placement option. Spoiler Try NBA Dish next time.
is it really "super disturbing"? More like brutally honest? It was in his MIND, he didn't act like out. There are a lot of disturbing and inappropriate thoughts everybody has.
Wasn't there a father that had walked in on his daughter being raped (I believe it was a hispanic male also) and killed the guy and was not charged?? I would get over something easier if done to myself than to my son, I'm sure about that.
I don't know about that specific case, but there have been similar cases in the past. I agree 100% that it is easier to forgive someone for harming me, than a wife or son.
https://abcnews.go.com/US/charges-texas-father-beat-death-daughters-molester/story?id=16612071 It was actually here in Texas.
That was shockingly candid, and I respect him for coming out and saying it, and I'm equally shocked that a guy from Northern Ireland would immediately think to act out of vengeance and violence. Maybe the latter part of the interview, when he's talking about violence/revenge just breeding more violence/revenge, will have a positive effect on someone.
Jesus man do you ever have an original thought or comment about anything. Or do you just go to cookie-cutter political talking points about almost all topics? What a tiresome way to lead a life. Think outside the box a bit.
I spend three months a year in Northern Ireland. The Catholics have basically zero concern or fear of death and expect to not live long. It isn’t really that violent anymore, but it is just a cultural thing at this point. As far as the message of it being a cycle... blah blah, that message has been preached for 30 years all the damn younger men are sick of it and sick of being oppressed.
Yes, but how does it make you feel? Do you want him to be your father figure, do you want to put your tiny hand in his?... until the end of time?
