2 - NOP were already saying no to the LAL offers and aren't going to just say "ok" to becoming the Louisiana Lakers just "because".

I don't see how today's list does anything... EXCEPT maybe up the LAC's prospective offers.

This was the plan all along. The Pelicans had removed him from their marketing and announced that everyone was available. They're sending him to LA, no matter what. They were just trying to squeeze as much as they could from LA as possible.

In the past decade, has any star player seriously considered the Rockets other than Dwight and CP? (James was traded here)

Horford and Reddick supposedly but they’re hardly stars at their peak. Bosh was declining heavily when he considered us.

It’s crazy how terrible the Knicks and Lakers have been for the past 9-10 years yet just because of location they’re always seriously considered. AD literally wouldn’t from any player more, than James Harden. Just ridiculous to me how he doesn’t even consider that. Makes me so bitter.

 

I sincerely doubt Davis gets moved by Thursday’s trade deadline, no matter how pressure Rich Paul and Klutch Sports try to put on the Pelicans organization.

Not true...

We were on CP3’s list (obviously), Lebron’s (last June), Butler’s (this year), and of course, Melo’s for the last 2yrs.

Weren’t we also connected to PG13 in one of the last two years, too?

Well Dwight and CP3 chose us, although not at the peak of their career(still in their prime the year they joined us, but declined unexpectedly in the next year). They're both MVP-caliber players in their prime, their aren't many players of the same level as or higher than those two demanded a trade or switched team as an FA in the past 10 years, Lebron, KD, Kawhi, AD, that's it, 2 out of 6 chose us, better than any other teams in the NBA, not bad at all.

 

If Davis just wanted a good team with future or great culture then let alone Boston, Denver would be there and the Spurs. And Toronto.
Why arent they? Because they actually have assets to trade for him.

 

I hope Bucks and Pelicans call their bluff, circulate some rumors that it's in final stages
