Not totally sure what an "edgelord" is, and I'm not googling it, so....

What kind of people put bumper stickers on their cars?

I thought it was a brilliant idea, because I knew I was all cool and different and whatnot when I was 16 or so, to put a deadhead (next to the Beastie Boys sticker) on the back of my 10-yr-old suburban. That we basically partied in.

I think I bought it online at an anti-war site. Back then, perpetual war was a sticking point for some. 17 years into the war on terror (with no end in sight) and currently in 7* wars right now, we instead focus our outrage on offensive tweets. It's progress, probably.

    * I think it's 7... could be slightly more or fewer

Some kinds of bumper stickers indicate a combative kind of person. That you have a bumper sticker for 101 KLOL or to proclaim your elementary school kid's perfect attendance -- not so much.

The people who put political bumper stickers all over their cars are the same ones who feel the need to share 15+ political posts per day on Facebook. Some people just feel this desperate need to be in everyone's face and always making sure that everybody knows where they stand politically and I suspect that a large part of it is that these are the type of people who have (sadly) made their political beliefs a huge part of their identities for one reason or another.

A lot of generalizations in this post but it just seems like the dumbest people tend to have the loudest voices.

I just remember driving down 71 around Bee Cave, and the pot store there (Planet K, maybe?) had HUGE Ron Paul placards all over the place, cool murals too.

eta: After dealing with the Horseshoe Bay dipsh!ts on the road all day, I think I'd like a "GO BACK TO DALLAS" bumper sticker on the truck and trailer.
