Great call. They now have a sprayable Gold Bond, so you don't have to find a bathroom and wash your hands after you powder your junk. Not sure I've ever used that one, I just keep the More Spice on hand and then add stuff to it. What's the deal with this version?
mine is usually good for about 15 minutes with a full charge I don't think it is any heavier than my echo. It does seem better balanced . Home Depot sells them. Best I can says is take her there and let her make her own decision. They carry several different brands with different prices. I chose EGO because it seemed better built.

I love my EGO power tools. Lawn mower, string trimmer, and blower all works flawlessly for the 2 years I've had them. I don't expect it to live as long as a gas engine tool, but so much easier to use, more convenient, and less maintenance. Weight is easy to manage. The tools themselves are fairly light. The battery size makes all the difference. They have small, medium, and large batteries. Small batteries are good enough for one tool. The medium/large are better for multiple tools or the wheeled tools (mower/snowblower). The small batteries are much easier to use on the handheld tools. The extra pound or two are noticeable.

as far as yard tools go, I'm a big fan of the Stihl Kombi tools, although it uses a gasoline powerhead. Probably use the pole saw, blade cutter, and hedge trimmer the most, the grass whip is pretty good too but I'd rather have a dedicated weed whacker.
