You maybe one of the few people in world not to take it. This is what he does for a living and his earning potential is very limited there are no 40+ & few 35+ year old players in the league. (10 years IF the players lucky). The Rockets players are here to make as much money as they can for as long as they can, just like most people would. The players can only sign what is put on front of them. The GM has the power of the pen not the player. (See House). Why would you not sign to make $120,000,000 in 4 years if you had the opportunity?
Harden has no control over cp3 playing or not. Harden can only control putting the ball in the basket and stopping the other team from putting the ball in the basket. Last night, jokic smacked the rockets from all aspects, and he dominated. Jokic almost got a triple double against cp3 last night. It wasn't a fluke for jokic because he just had a triple double a couple days before cp3 got back. The rockets had the same shots last night, only difference was rockets made them 2 nite.
After jokic comes off the bench for the west allstars in a couple of weeks nobody needs to be surprised that the boy can play!!! You know what you getting out of cp3, cp3 gonna have more rebounds than Ennis, that's for Damm sure. He not gonna make unforced turnovers. Cp3 gonna give couple of hard to make layups over a big or two, the classic double post three pointer set play, and high pick and roll mid range jumpers. The more cp3 plays with far"weed", the better. On a side note, Friday game on ESPN shows, Mike Malone for Denver is the coach of the year. Nik jokic is most improved player of the year!
His main job is leading the second unit and provide clutch play in the final minutes. He is still very good at that.
small sample size...any player can play shaky for couple of months particularly when troubled with injury and dysfunctional team
Cp3 took Saturday off from back soreness but actually he plans on bowling with Terrell Owens for charity in the super "bowl" invitational!!!! Check out cp3 on Twitter for details!!!!
Bowling is a part of his rehab, but I wonder if nba inside might be able to verify whether or not Ricky Rubio is in the soon-to-be traded list because Rubio didn't look right.
you are right https://www.slamonline.com/nba/grizzlies-jazz-discussing-mike-conley-ricky-rubio-trade/ Report: Grizzlies, Jazz Discussing Conley-for-Rubio Trade BY ISAIAH FREEDMAN FEBRUARY 01, 2019
Rubio was in "no man's" land all night on the those picks. He was getting taken completely out of the play when screen came in, it was like he never seen it coming. Couple times the ball sailed, one time early in the game Donovan Mitchell saved a Rubio pass that was sailing out of bounds! Another time, rivers almost picked off a Rubio chest pass made in "no man's" land!!!
I don’t belive he has declined that much that he still can’t be a genuine third option. I do believe his days as a first or second option are done but to assume he still can’t occasionally take over a game and still be a main contributor are silly. He is still a very good player.
