Have any of you looked at Chandler Parsons contract? He’s making about 50 mil this year and next and he does not even play. There are far worst contracts in the nba. The hate for CP3 on this board has to be at an all time high.

 

The big problem I see with this trade is that James Ennis is included. I'm pretty sure Morey would just hang up the second a team asks for Ennis to be included in the deal.

He's been overpaid ever since he left us. It's a joke that he makes that much, especially with his injury history. Heck, he wasn't even great to begin with. Good, but no superstar. But, 50 mil for 2 years is a LOT less than 40 million for one year. Oh, what I could do with that extra 30 million.

You guys act like CP3 sucks. He is still great, and will be for the term of his contract.

 

I don't pay attention to their contracts, and don't even know what they make. I just don't like CP3's contract.

I said I think Parsons' contract is a joke, and agree CP3 is a great player. I just don't like his contract, and think he is highly overpaid for his increase in injuries and more time spent on the bench each year. That won't change, and honestly, might get even worse.

 

Parsons and Wall contracts are easily the worst contracts in the NBA.

Houston does it. Why does Philly and Pelicans do it? Philly definitely gets better than they are now without giving up much. New Orleans? I don’t know man, why do we even think we have a chance!?!?

EDIT: you can switch Muscala with TJ since Pelicans need a point guard. Seriously, is this too far fetched?

 

Nobody says he sucks, but I suppose some of us have a different definition of "great", especially considering the $40M per year we are spending.

But hey...maybe his body gets right and he goes back to elite point guard play. I hope that is the case.
