I'd argue Steven Adams is better also.

But yeah, top 5 or 6 for sure

    Huge gamble by NYK

If they end up with Zion, Durant, and Kyrie, it was a great trade.

If they end up w a pick outside the top 2 and no marquee free agents, and KP reaches his potential, then this trade could set their franchise back 10+ years

He is betting on himself finding players in the second round, undrafted players, free agents, d leaguers, players wanting to play next to harden paul and davis, his training staff keeping guys healthy....we dont need our 4 picks.

Tucker and gordon are each worth more picks than an expiring mirotic, both are on great deals.

I mean sure they can consider it. However since we are talking about ANTHONY DAVIS we can all be sure they are sure to get better offers.
I would for one consider that offer more than the Lakers one but ultimately both would end up in the trash bin.
Unless I can get a future star or a top5 pick then no deal.

Curious to see the protections of those picks, at least they got two...

Imagine if these picks are lottery protected.

I still think they can find better deals... a star player now is worth more than picks, some of which won't convey for years to come.

This could work out for the Knicks if they land the #1 pick. Which I could see happening since the draft lottery is definitely fixed... Who wants to play in a big market and play with Zion? Could be appealing. Both for players and the business of the NBA.

Historically speaking this is extremely risky for the Mavs. That's because of his injury history - he's always had durability issues. Porzingis missed 10 games his rookie year, 16 his second season, 34 last year and the first 50 games of this season and quite possibly won't play this season. Factor in the fact that there’s no documentation of a 7-3 player returning from ACL surgery in the NBA and you can see why this is no sure thing for the Mavs. This weill either work out great or it could wind up as another big man bust for the Mavs.
