House is in our 1st and 3rd best 4-man lineups by net rating.

    1. Harden/Gordon/House/Capela OffRtg 110.1 DRtg 97.1 +13.0 (108 mins 17 GP)
    3. Gordon/House/Tucker/Capela OffRtg 101.1 DRtg 90.4 +10.7 (82 mins 13 GP)

During that stretch he could play with the starters, and also be part of a bench unit that struggled offensively but LOCKED DOWN defensively. And this was with Gordon running the point, not CP.

House is under 2-way contract and can’t go anywhere for the time being. Rockets are looking to move players by the trading deadline to create roster spots and free up money to pay House. Most GM’s wait until the last minute of the deadline to try to get the best deal possible.

If the Rockets don’t create roster space and shed payroll by the deadline.....then chances are House
will stay with the Vipers and the Rockets will use 10-day contracts and/or explore the buy-out market.

Rivers and Faried are giving Morey confidence in buy-outs.

We need Capella back. We are getting killed in the post by opponents. It seems all the opponents have one offensive strategy and that's to drive in each play.

The broader issue is that we have no length. How can we compete with GSW or OKC? House is a good hustle player and I like him, but he doesn't address length.

I think most here know we don’t have a starting calibur wing. House was effective but there might be better options available around trade deadline and buyout market. Morey is doing the right thing holding out on if it means signing House now hinders our ability to upgrade. I think Morey will likely engage House if nothing better comes up.

For now Rockets just have to weather the situation...

Yes, we also need house or other good small forward. Houston loses to pecilians in the 1st match with capela. We need all positions strong in order to beat warriors

If Morey does anything sign House and take these Rockets to the Playoffs.

I mean, Morey has a lot of pressure on him to deliver, so he better deliver next week.

Tucker has been god-awful on offense this year, and his defense rarely offsets that. That combined with his inability to crash the glass has been hurting the Rockets as well. It seems like the Rockets have no consistent shooters this year, which is why they've looked mediocre even when (barely) winning games.

Nah...more logical option would be to use the MLE to lock up House long-term.

But the best thing is to have House starting. House's absence is missed. Not sure how you don't see this

I am losing confidence on 3 GMs because they are greedy. No one is interested in dealing with them.
    Morey
    Magic Johnson
    Pat Riley

Sometimes you've got to be overprice on trade.

We could use all the help we can get but unfortunately House's agent is being a b**** about it and Tilman refuses to shell out anymore money for this team knowing we can't beat the All-NBA Warriors.

Whoa... good to see an OG on the board, @CriscoKidd.

You may be right. I think they just want that free agency for the summer, believing he can get more than the minimum in the future (next two years). The Rockets, of course, want a team-friendly minimum deal for more than just this season. But I'm sure if the pot was sweetened on a two- or three-year deal, House's camp would bite. I'm just not sure the Rockets, with their luxury tax concerns, are going to go for that. I guess we'll see how desperate they get.
