Rivers made 2... that was it... PJ missed 3-4 open 3's Gordon missed 4-7 3's.... Ennis...missed his 3's also
Through my observation of JH in the last three years, I found something. JH in the soft intensity of the game, will play no spirit, no interest. For example: All-Star games, rubbish time after the score difference is pulled away, and games like today. He'll make a lot of fantastic brain short-circuit turnovers, all kinds of crushing offensive choices. In this case, he seems to have lost all his offensive skill packs and completely lost himself. Take a nap on the floor. This season seems to have improved, he realized that although he played badly, but still want to accumulate scores to 30 +. However, in this game, our role players did not give JH any substantive help, our shooting was very bad, but still stubborn to continue 3, thus a vicious circle.
Harden had a bad a game himself but I’ll give him a pass since he has been carrying these clowns on his back all season
Sure but he ended up 6-18 with 3 of his 3's coming at the end....after a full night of triple teaming. Not what we're used to, but it's not unsurvivable The Brick Brothers (other than Austin) went 0 for the second half after PJ's 3 at 10:56 in the 3rd. 0 for the second half. That's not survivable
OP notorious for displaying a "Harden can do no wrong" mindset. No non-Harden players...... except the non-Harden player
This is why I hate how our philosophy is so radical. There has to be a contingency game plan when 3s arent falling. Run some post plays. Run someone off a screen at the elbow. Run a pick and pop. I dont care but run something else, instead of slowly dying with every 3.
More D—better, smarter, sustained-effort D—always seems to lead to more 3s. I'm thinking it might be worth a try at this point. Biglydick, earn that money!
