Might as well Dream, the team did quite a while ago. I'm blown away that we lost because I absolutely didn't think it was going to happen until the very end of the game.

Rockets do not have qualification to downplay any rivals.

And I get that CP3 is still shaking the rust off after missing a fifth of the season, but dayum. He started the year off slow, got injured, and is now back to slow again. I want a little more production for Tilman's $40M. This is the kind of game where he's being paid to step up, rally the troops, and dig out a win. Instead... just a whimper of an airballed three at the end.

They got to look in the mirror their is no way you should miss wide open threes after James makes the pass. But that's alright they just need to get inline for the playoffs. They got to get health and get the full team back or we will have more setbacks from fatigue

Technically, MDA didn't choose PJ's height.

    Mike:

Like Orlando, came out, didn't have the juice. We were ahead because we shot the ball exceedingly well in the first. I told them it lulls you into thinking you're OK and you're not OK because you're not guarding. Then we go cold. They start making shots & we find ourselves behind. Recipe for losing. We did it. We'll own it & move on. Can't have too many nights like this.

If you don't bring it to the arena, you can't find it in the arena. We got lulled into Orlando where we didn't bring it, then turn it on the last 3 quarters & that's hard to do. Maybe they thought we'll be OK & we weren't and you could see it a mile away. It happens. We gotta pick it up & go forward.

(James struggled shooting.) Jrue is one of the best defenders in the league, if not the best. He did a heck of a job. Could've been some things differently. You'll have those nights. Some guys will hit, some won't but doesn't matter if we're connected defensively, we're playing, getting in the open floor and making things easy. Everything was hard tonight because we weren't stopping them. We paid the price.

(Small without Clint) Little bit of a factor but c'mon, we need to win these games anyways. We can't throw games like this away.

This is the dumbest Rockets I've ever seen.

Too many low IQ basketball players.

I know you don't care about facts, but he's actually managed to continue to be efficient despite the increase in his usage. I think it was 538 that put out an article on it. He does still have bad games you are right, and this was one of them. You taking this bad game and then projecting it back as if he's been playing like this throughout this stretch is shameful.

Chill out man... he’s great but a had a bad day. 37 points on effectively 37 shots ain’t that great. Quit ignoring the fact that the pelicans were undermanned and should’ve been handled easily. The guy taking waaaay more shots than anyone else on the team should be much better than he was today.

That's the one issue I have with the team this year. The Raptors and Knicks games indicated a lack of late-game awareness, and this game (among others) indicated that the Rockets still need to work on their "killer instinct" some more. There is no switch. There is no spoon. You have to change your approach or the things that went wrong will keep going wrong.

Otherwise, this team is nowhere near the dysfunction of the 2015-16 season. It's been a fun ride so far, and I know they'll get better when Capela gets back. And I suppose another silver lining is that our coaching staff gets to flex their coaching muscle and come up with some counters to the double, triple, quintuple-teaming that's going on. But it's gotta start with our players hitting their open shots.

I really have to wonder if Hartenstein could be much worse on defense than what we have to offer right now.

The defense is the problem. Its been the problem. It will continue to be a problem. There is no reason why we should have gotten out-rebounded by 10 to third stringers. No perimeter defense. Not only is the perimeter defense bad, no one knows where to be.

This...too many people here trying to apologize for Harden...hell the team played shitty...but Harden is the man who takes all the shots ...he’s got to get the most blame when he shoots like ****.

I miss when House would help Harden on those doubles and drive the ball in.

This is why we are all so upset. Just total lack of defense . I swear that cold front from up north swept onto the court after the first 21 minutes of play and iced our offense.

Hartenstein is too tall for the Rockets to play.

Pelicans outscored Faried, Green and Rivers' IQ's combined.
