If you want to hammer down to the minute details and call out Harden for his idiotic play trying to draw that foul and going out of bounds, that's fair game. If you wanted to say too many bad missed shots, that's fine too.

But to say what you just said, boy you are a fool.

There's not one single player in the world who gets the treatment Harden gets, not one. And this is by his own 'fans'. Give me a break.

 

Triple Harden, watch the team freak out.

MDA isn't a good coach. I hate hate hate this 3 philosophy

 

If it is or not, no excuse for the rest of the team to play just as crappy. Step up for him.

 

This isn't new. How many career games to scrubs have we given up lately?

Remember -- we nearly lost to the Knicks! We're still that team. Harden's greatness has just been covering it up for the most part.

That's who we are right now. And yes not having Capela is a legit excuse because we have literally no one to replace what he does. CP3 is replaceable on this team thanks to Harden simply increasing his load. But we do not have a Capela replacement on the defensive end.

 

Yeah, Jimmy has a great supporting cast....there's Jimmy and there's ...wait a minute,there's...well, there Jimmy and that's about it.

 

CP3 is too old to be out there f****** around all the time on the court

 

NO just did Houston a favor. Coach Gentry had a game plan and MDA never made an adjustment. This is the classic way would lose in the playoffs. new Orleans deserved to win and the Rockets did not match their intensity. That double at the Top you notice that P.J. was the shooter in the corner. The last game they played the Pelicans that shot was getting hit by house. If you are not consistently hitting that corner three then that allows teams to swarm James. MDA needs to coach you cant expect James to do superhuman things all the time. The one thing that I did learn is James is a lot easier to guard when he is not dribbling a lot. Teams where not able to double team him as precisely without putting themselves to far from the basket

 

First post in a long while just so I can say WTF.... did they really just get 70pts in the paint?!?! No excuse for this crap Capela or not... still funneling guards to the paint as if he was there and they got easy buckets. If I wasn't bald I'd pull my hair out

 

Again if harden doesn’t have a 50 point plus game this team has no chance. Pelicans shut him down and the rest of the free loading frauds called the rest of the rockets were exposed.

 

There was a stretch Harden missed like 7 stepback 3's in a row. The Rockets took this game for granted & it caught with them

I think the Rockets have the Greatest fanbase I've ever seen. At least on Clutchfans. Everyone is passionate and opinionated, so it makes for fun discussions even if some of the takes are questionable.

It gets a bit much when the mood of the GARM see-saws after pretty much every game, but for the most part I think it's hard to find a more active and engaged group of people, so I'm happy about that at least.

 

This wouldn't normally have been a game we HAD to win. Every team has dumb losses occasionally; the Warriors have had a few this year.

The problem is that we've already given away too many easy wins just by not closing out when we needed to. The ability to close out games isn't a switch you throw come playoff time, it's a muscle you exercise so that it's there when you need it.

 

Oh I agree with you this team just struggles to sorry teams yet plays well against good ones. Maybe that will work on this road trip

 

If you guys are saying Harden is a big reason we lost tonight then you have no clue. We lost because our paint defense. As I already said, they had like 70 points to our 38 points in the paint.

Yeah, Harden shot terribly for most of the game, but he also got double teamed for most of the game. Doesn't help when your other teammates are bricking wide open shots.

 

Pj is tired MDA has him at 6'5 guarding 7'0 and 6'10 people

 

The team played like this game was in the bag before it started. Houston could be real good if they really believe they have to earn what they get. Teams are not going to give them the night off. MDA did not have a good coaching game either.
