I like the idea of sending Ball to The bucks With AD, Let us get Brook "step back 3" Lopez. Three team trade and sends AD to EAST. Not sure with players in/out total but thats the core of what I would want. We might have to send Some picks or salary filler to either Bucks or Pels.

 

Harden drops 40 points like the rest of the league drops 15. They can suck a big one if they think they can beat Harden with a healthy squad!

You could very well be right. I guess I should go through the mental exercise of defining criteria for a Top 20 player, then actually going through and listing them out. I honestly still don't think Capela cracks the Top 20 for me, but I'm probably underrating him a bit too. And I'll add the additional caveat that I absolutely love Capela on this team, just because I don't want to come off as a hater.

Anthony Davis is a great player. But I don't think we have a realistic chance to trade for him. Several things are factors that we don't get him. We do not have the assets to get him, We are not his preferred destination from all the rumors we are hearing. He is most likely headed to the Lakers. New Orleans probably wont trade him to us since we play in the same division unless our offer is something that they cant turn down

Which is why nothing will happen. The league isn't going to investigate itself. It's a multi-billion dollar business. New Orleans may never be profitable no matter what players are on that team or how much success they have. But you put Davis on the Lakers and the money will pour in like a waterfall.

 

Klutch Sports made this announcement today to give the Lakers an exclusive 10-day window over the Celtics. Wonder why? The agency is run by LeBron’s childhood friend, Rich Paul, and LeBron is represented by said agency. If the NBA seriously can’t figure out the conflict of interest here, they are lead by idiots, or don’t care. The only reason LeBron doesn’t have an ownership stake in the agency now is to cover his tracks regarding alleged tampering charges.

AD doesn’t have to fake an injury. He’s always injured. Hence he’s not playing right now.

Kawhi maybe a diva but he’s the best fit next to Harden. That’s like Jordan and Pippen.

 

Of course the Rockets should make an offer for AD. But it seems like the more likely way this plays out is that they hold out hope that they're going to get him, believing they have a realistic chance, and to keep the assets freed up for the big AD deal, they pass up opportunities for smaller trades that would improve the team. Then AD goes to the Lakers or Celtics and the Rockets are left with pretty much the same team they have now, get knocked out in the second round of the playoffs, and everyone talks about how they were SO CLOSE to getting AD, but there's always next year, and, just you wait, Morey will make a big move this summer ...
