Lmao..love how trade hasnt even happened and Ball is already putting out demands making it even more difficult to happen.
What next? Ball goes out for the year with Kawhi-tis to evade being traded.

If I'm NOP this is what I want.

Philly - Ben Simmons, zhaire, picks
Boston - Taytum, Brown, Rozier, picks
Lakers - Ingram, Kuzma, Zubac, Ball, picks
    Houston - Capela, Gordon, picks
    Washington - Beal, picks
    Portland - McCollum, picks
Denver - Barton, Murray, Harris, picks

Realistically, LA has no shot- Kuzma may be a borderline All Star some day. Boston can't pull the trigger until July 1. Philly isn't giving up their core guys.

Houston has a legit shot if we trade Capela & a gold mine of picks. I hate to lose lil gold crown but come on, AD is 25 and a perennial MVP candidate.

    @cyberx whatchu got, dog?

If the Lakers trade Kuzma plus the kitchen sink....lebron and Davis can't beat the warriors or us by themselves... Rondo and Mcgee....whatever...

It would hurt...def...but that hurt would be all over when we win the chip.

Dont know if Harden would want to trade clint tho...and if the Rockets think they are good enough as is.

I want this to happen if we dont get him

    Rondo
    Stephenson
    LeBron
    Davis
    McGee

Then Davis bolts. Then LeBron retires.

Lakers rebuild around Rondo with no picks. Go Magic!

    Please.

Be realistic about what the Rockets are right now. We are not the team that won 65 games last year.

Lebron+Davis+Chandler+minimum players and vets is better than Harden+Paul+Capela+minimum players and vets. That is assuming that they don't keep signing people who can't shoot to surround Lebron with.

Not in 2 years when we will be paying an injured old man a max contract

    They could consider it...

    Then they'd pass.

The first rounders are useless. The Rockets would have CP3/Harden/AD... and DM. Even if CP3 has regular long injuries, Harden already carries the Rockets to the playoffs every year. Harden/AD would be in the playoffs every year. And while anything can happen 7 years later, that's a lot of unknown future value... WAY IN THE FUTURE. Hard to justify your job with that. "Why do we suck every year?!?!" "Don't worry, the 2025 pick is coming in 3 years, remember!! Give me a raise!!"

The bulk of the value then is Capela... which actually isn't bad return, but obviously isn't AD.

If I'm the Pelicans I just wait and then offer him to Atlanta for their two lotto picks next year plus salary filler. That would be theirs and the Mavs. That's pick 5 and 9 right now. Sure, that's less of a guarantee even than Clint Capela, but at least its more exciting. If they sit AD, and move on from Jrue, Mirotic, Randle, their pick will be in that range too... it's already pick 11. Plus whatever other assets they get from those trades. If they take on a Bazemore in return, they'll also have a big expiring next year to maybe cash in for some value.

Maybe you get Atlanta to trade you future picks also

Meanwhile, why would Atlanta do this? Trae, Collins, AD and $50+ million in cap space. Not that this would happen, but they could sign KD as SF for example. Trae, [SG], KD, Collins, AD. Or throw a lot of money at Khris Middleton, or Tobias Harris. It's a top 4 east team very quick, imo.

Just a 100% random, just made up example on my own in the last 5 minutes on why if I'm the Pelicans I barely pick up the phone to listen to Capela+4 firsts.

Chandler? Did you seriously just mention 46 year old Tyson Chandler as some sort of threat? My grandmother moves quicker than he does.

    A piece of trivia.
I was surprised to read that Jrue is the highest paid player on the Pelicans roster this year at 25.9 M vs Davis at 25.4M on the ESPN Trade Machine page. Usually the numbers on it are accurate, but there are errors there as well.
