    WAY different.
Are you not aware that Leonard was 'injured' for a FULL season?
Likely not injured for a whole year, but played as if he were injured just to pout
He's FINE now. Odd how that works. He gets his way and now he's fine.

I don't buy it. The disappearance for an entire season was just for spite and leverage.
They had to pay him for that nonsense too.
I can't see AD doing anything like that. He'll be back on the court.
He may ask to be traded, but he'll likely be playing again in a Pels uni until that time

The Lakers have at least 3/4 guys in rookie scale with potential to be good/great role players (which is basically what Clint is), two/three of them are 2/3 years younger than Capela...not sure what's hard to understand here, you're making me appear like someone who doesn't appreciate and value Capela a lot, which is not true since i just said i like him more than any of those Lakers guys, but we're talking about a package for a trade here.

That’s the deal I was thinking.

    CC+EG+Chriss and the 4 unprotected 1sts.
    For
    AD+ Wes Johnson

Saves Pels money this off-season with chriss expiring. Has clint locked up for 4 more years at 18m and EG for one more year after this one. They could prob package EG and a pick for a rebuilding asset next year seeing as he’s good and would be a 14m expiring contract.

I don’t think that’s the best deal available but prob the only one they would not hang up the phone on from us.

I think to get AD's team have to get Solomon Hill's contract.

The knicks have the best package.

Porzingas and their number 1 pick this year would be the deal to make if I’m the Pels.

I’m not jumping up in the air to help rich Paul Lebron and the lakers

If they get ball Ingram and kuz they would literally be the lakers of last year since they have Randall already who’s the best of that bunch.

I guess if that’s the best deal I would take it but man I’m not high and on ball at all. I like kuz and Ingram as high level role players eveb staters but I don’t see any of them being allstars.

They'd have to at least consider that.

On the trade machine it looks like he’s expiring so I don’t really see the need or want for them to offload that contract.

Wes Johnson has one more year at 6.5m

This would be a dream signing. I would love having AD on our team!!!!!! Unfortunately, I think we are more likely to see snow in downtown Houston in August than we are seeing Morey pull off a deal for Anthony Davis.

If Rockets trade for AD and he doesn't want to extend at the end of his season, then just trade him in the summer. Rockets should be able to get nice assets in return for AD.

I mean there not taking gordon back so that pretty much takes a trade package out. Next.

Ugh. Those guys suck. After LeBron, the Laker with the highest PER is Zubac at 29th in the league. JaVale McGee is next at 44th. Kuzma clocks in at 133rd, Ingram at 223rd, Ball at 227th, and Hart at 281st. If these guys played in Sacramento they'd be nobodies. His third year in the league Harden had a PER of 21.13, but in Ingram's third year he's at 12.29, which is down from last year - but yeah, build a trade around him and not Capela.

CC, EG, and 4 FRP would do it. Doesn't matter if EG doesn't want to go back. He will be an expiring next season and the Pelicans can flip him to another team.

Wrong....Melton was a second round pick and Suns pulled the trigger on that. Gary Clark wasn’t even drafted.

I will bump it up to 4 first round picks.....and it’s the best offer; until it is not the best offer.

*Side note. Gordon is much better than when he played for them....very serviceable floor spacer for
the Pels (w/contract control beyond this season).

Ok, I played the game of hypothetical what-ifs. Peace out suckers.

    Strictly speaking, I agree.

Hakeem94 was just broadening the term 'allstar' quite a ton.

Our best offer would have to be
Capela + House + 5 first round picks (4 being ours and 1 being from trading Eric Gordon to someone)
Is that better than the Lakers young guys? Probably not. Capela is the best player but you’re basically getting a whole starting 5 from Lakers. If you’re starting a team from scratch you gotta take Ingram and Kuzma and Ball over just Clint.

According to Woj, AD wants to be traded to a contender. How many teams out there fit that description?

Certainly not the Lakers and the Knicks. Maybe Boston, but I think Houston is definitely a realistic destination for AD.

But they have to wait till this summer to trade for him unless they're willing to trade kyrie irving by deadline. The Lakers might give a really enticing offer to the Pelicans in the next few days

Unfortunately Davis doesn’t have a NTC. So unless teams are scared by no guarantee, N.O can send him anywhere they see fit.
