I really don’t think Cousins will be much of a factor in the playoffs vs us. CP3 and Harden will pick and roll him to death until they swap him out for Looney.

I wish we coulda got Kawhi instead. He fills a bigger need.

After Boogie talked to Davis this morning. Boogie did not say much.
My friend told me that Davis likes Curry more than LeBron. LeBron is not easy to get along.
GS are not planning to trade for Davis this year.

Lakers have the best to offer the Pelicans IF a trade does go down. Rockets still should just try to fill the back up Center Position and roll with that.

Yep we are not in the discussion not when NO could get that young core from the lakers which will not help the Lakers as much as they would like to think. Kuzma and Ingram and Ball together could be devastating in the playoffs for L.A. Anthony Davis and Lebron alone cant win in the west they would need the shooters and they don't have them

New Orleans had better ask for the whole damn farm from the Lakers. We had to give up Bev, Lou Will, Harrell, Dekker, and a first round pick plus salaries to match to get a 32 year old CP3. They're getting prime Anthony Davis at 25. If the Lakers somehow get him without needing to give up picks or all the young players I'm going to be pissed.

I'm still struggling with the idea of the Lakers being in the lead because of all of the great young players they can offer. All those guys were on the team last year and they finished 11th in the conference and 21st overall. Not only would New Orleans end up on the mediocrity treadmill but they'd get to put up with LaVar Ball for the privilege.

And why not build a deal around Capela? He's young, a top 20 player, and locked in on relatively affordable long-term deal. What team would part with a single better player than Capela?

    Top 3 takeaways:
    - Chriss and Gordon = Jimmy Butler, in terms of wins.
    - Davis is only worth 5 more wins than Butler and Fultz, combined.
    - New Orleans should just delete itself, as a basketball franchise

Clint is not a top 20 player bro, come on now, top 10 center yeah i guess, not even close to be a top 20 player though.

But aside for that yeah, he's still young, improved his game every year and he's on a great contract for four more years...to me he's a great asset, might not be enough here though, i don't like that much the Lakers young players either, i like Capela more than anyone of them, but Capela is one player, the Lakers can offer like 4/5 of those guys...

Who cannot trade for AD, and least not until the summer. If you're the Pels, you don't want this to linger for months I don't think.

I think Capela is better than what most teams can offer

    Capela is presently:
    14th in Player Efficiency Rating
    16th in Value Added
    15th in Estimated Wins Added
    7th in rebounding
    9th in blocks
19th in scoring among all centers AND forwards

If he's not a top 20 player then he's damn close.

The problem is that Capela does not have the ability to create his own shot. He’s not a prolific scorer in any sense.

Not by himself. The Celtics have three first rounds picks this summer alone, plus Tatum, Brown, Rozier, and Smart on friendly contracts. We have no young prospects to package with Capela. Our four 1st round picks would have to be conveyed across years.

    DO NOT WANT.
Dude faked an injury for a full season while he pouted and forced his way out of town.
No thanks. Don't need a prima donna like that in our locker room
