Anthony Davis Requested Trade From Pelicans (Rockets to offer?)

It looks like we are the only team that can offer 4 1st rounds. Obviously we would have to give up some value as far as players. If Morey can pull off this deal, than all we would have to do is get some good guys for cheap. But if New Orleans is smart they should wait for until the off season and get the best deal from Boston.

People here really think we're gonna trade Chris Paul? I don't care if the contract seems terrible. That would be a really bad look and Morey loves CP3.

 

Do y’all think Rich Paul, LeBron’s agent, is going to try to force the pelicans to trade Davis to the Lakers?

 

Horford + Tatum + several good value 1st rounders & AD is balling with Celtics. Simple as that.

 

Probably and I'm curious what the NBA thinks about an agent having that much control.

 

I heard you can do this thing called trade where you can trade 2-3 picks and get a better pick.

4 mid 20 picks are like 2 late lotto picks. Pelicans can move up in the draft for the next 4 years.

I don't see the Pelicans trading AD before the trade deadline.

I don't see the Rockets having an offer to out bid other teams.

They are nothing more than random people guessing what they think will happen. Wouldn't read too much into them.

Lakers have good young players. Nothing that puts its hand on my thigh, so to speak, but not bad.

Clippers......hmn, will they offer what Davis wants? They can be used as summer leverage in case the Pelicans don't find a deal now.

Same with NY as Clips, UNLESS NY can move out contracts to make room for two max players.

I hope we don't trade Capela. AD is the perfect stretch 4 we have been looking for this whole time. Him Capela would give us our rim protection for 48 minutes.

Our offer has to be with multiple teams. EG for a first. Maybe even Tucker for first.

Knight Chriss Nene + 6 first round picks for AD. That would be something. Then sign House for rest of the year. This is probably still not enough.

Morey should also offer the pelicans the use of all his analytics tools to help with drafting these 6 picks since they can't draft at all.

Well its obvious that AD wont pull a Leonard or a Butler. He talked to the coach and his teammates.
The team though is better served if they let him sit all season.
