Paul, Gordon, Capela + 4 First rounders for Davis and Holiday. Mowri can do the rest. Beard and Brow FTW!!

Delusional. Rockets don’t have the assests. Pelicans don’t want Gordon. Those Rockets 1st round picks will be outside the lottery. Stop getting yourselves all riled up.

I think we can already see Capela's ceiling.

He's awesome, but i'm not sure what we can realistically expect him to add to his game that would radically change who he is as a player.

Offer campela + 4 1st that's better than any other offer. Clint has a cheap contract.

I wonder if the Pelicans will just be bitter about it too since the Lakers did tamper with him

AD is LA bound barring an insane offer from another team that the Pelicans could not pass up.

Well, the Lakers were a lock for George and Kawhi too so...hopefully they get screwed again.

Tbf, to me it seems that the Lakers are really pushing hard for Davis, more than they did for George and Kawhi, but NOLA still have control here. Hopefully they don't want to be that team after Pacers and Spurs already refused to deal with the Lakers.

Exactly, you put in the offer and hope no one beats it. Sure, we are a division rival but all that goes out the window when it means they are not getting a good deal for their best player.

    3 team deal:
    Capela and 4 firsts
Plus whatever gordon or tucker nets you in a deal. If we lose tucker, then we should try to get mirotic to have a pf on the roster.

We HAVE to trade Gordon to a third team for another young asset.

Then it would be Capela, Knight, [Asset], 2+ first round picks. That's quite the haul.

That's always a possibility. Never rule out a bad Eastern conference team desperate for star power.

    Lakers - ageing star (Lebron)
Rockets - star in Prime (Harden)

Lakers - might sign a third star next year
    Rockets - already have CP3

Lakers - uncertainty at head coach
Rockets - top 5 coach locked in

    Lakers - GM is unproven
    Rockets - Top 5 GM

Lakers - probably not title contender this year
Rockets - prime title contender this year

Pretty strong arguments in favor of Rockets.

Not sure if I’m being annoying by repeating my words or you’d appreciate my direct response but anyway. I see it opposite. Waiting until the summer has the potential to hurt offers. Pelicans can’t control what happens from now until summer. ADs camp threatening any team that will trade for AD by saying we’re going to LA the following year. Also what if Boston goes deep in the finals and everything clicks or complete opposite scenario Kyrie leaves them in the summer, do they still give up a Tatum and then some for AD? (Keep in mind Pels won’t take Hayward and all of Boston’s other salary filler are good players that would hurt them if they’re gone) You could end up with AD but not be a contender.

Neither of us know what Pelicans are thinking or how they’re going to approach this. But I was like you thinking no way it makes sense for them not to wait until the summer. But there is a lot of unknown with waiting. If you consider some of the things I stated, you can see how Lakers and Pelicans today can be two teams that can’t afford to wait. Lakers CANNOT afford to miss out on AD. Pels CANNOT afford to risk having teams lessen their offers.

I hate the fact that it’s come to this but if I was Pelicans I would call Magic and say “Ingram, Kuzma, Lonzo, Hart, Zubac and picks with expiring salary filler and you take whatever we want to include with Davis (Moore?)”

Can waiting until the summer for Boston lead to a better offer? Maybe, but definitely can’t say it’s guarenteed and the Lakers package I stated is a hell of a package. Obviously Lakers might think that’s way too much but Pelicans need to take control of the situation.

Why are we including CP3 again? And why would New Orleans want Paul when they have Holliday?

    1 cp3
    2 capela
    3 4 picks

1you get 2 legit allstars locked up for 4 years plus 4 picks
plus cp3 is legit generational talent POINTGOD one of the best ever (and the most attractive game) to lace m up
    nobodys beating that

pelicans could have a legit great BIG 3 team for the next year
    1 cp3 star
    2 jrue
    3 mirotic
    4 randle
    5 capela
    6 payton
    7 darius miller
    8 ian clark
    9 danuel house
    10 solomon hill

theres your lock team for playoffs next year beautifull basketball and full house for the entire season

they need to realize they will never win championship and should target for relevancy to fill out the empty seats

little to no chance rockets have a shot at AD. don't have the assets for him compared to what others can potentially offer
