Don Lemon of CNN: White Men Represent the Biggest Terror Threat in America

Well, nowhere in my post was I stereotyping an entire race. I was just pointing out it was poor timing. You were just shitposting so I returned the favor.

Anyways, the #s show that if there’s a domestic act of terrorism, the attacker is most likely to be a white male. Now acts of terror are extremely rare in the grand scheme of things so we are talking about an extremely small group of people.

And, yes, you definitely defended it. Doubled down, in fact....calling out anyone who pointed this fact out. Allow me to give a little advice....if you're going to call out someone for shitposting, its usually much better when your own posts don't fall into that category.

And if you don't see how Lemon's headline isn't stereotyping....you need to reexamine your knowledge of the word. Basically, he's calling out those who stereotype one group....by stereotyping another. Hence my 'shitpost'....otherwise known are 'pointing out flaws in one's argument'. If that is a 'shitpost' to you...it says a lot more about your inability to engage in a debate than it does mine. Hence my reference to the video, which does indeed seem appropriate.

Second, his headline isn't actually true.

So, Islamic jihadist extremists do indeed actually represent the biggest terror threat in America. Note that this is true even if you factor 9-11 out of the equation. Which one would only do if one were looking to bias the results.

So, given that that statistics do NOT back up Lemon's claim....what else could you attribute it to but playing up a stereotype and catering to the white hate crowd?

And what's more important....playing up stereotypes, or actually reducing terrorism? Lemon has clearly given his answer. What's yours, hmmm?

 

And you are completely dishonest, in the context of the thread and you quoting it how you did implies you have a problem with what Lemon said and did.

You have to be pretty damn dangerous group to pose a crime or terror risk to a country comparable to its overwhelming majority on a simple numbers basis. In terms of terror, for muslims to pose a greater risk of terrorism, they need to commit terror acts at around 70 times the rate to be a higher risk, but it seems this argument amounts to claiming that, no, it's really only 65 times.

Um congratulations? The logical conclusion of this argument is that the country would be safer with more of the majority and less of the minority, is this really an argument we want to have? The facts will hurt a lot of feelings.
