Pros: Youth, cheap contract 2.8 M this year. Can shoot and block shots plus can run P/R on offense. Is physically strong and has length and height. Cons: Poor rebounder especially considering height. Somewhat uncoordinated. Hasn't made sufficient improvement. Not worth giving up a FRP in my opinion.
I see Shot Blocking and 3s. Those are two things we need. He could possibly be a good post defender on Durant fadeaways. Also if he can shoot like they say he can it could work.
Hey we need another tall guy, he can come in and relieve Clint or Kenneth, by looking at his videos the kid can play and in this system he may shine even more. Look at Faried he is going be good for us plus this guy can shoot the 3 that opens up the court for Harden and puts pressure on the other teams defense. Just my opinion.
It was a joke regarding a certain poster. I’d welcome Thon as long as we aren’t giving up the farm to get him. When your 2nd best big man is a 55 year old Nene who can’t play more than once a week, you can’t be afraid to take a flier on someone like Thon.
Chriss' expiring contract and a 2nd would okay with me. I do want to target Prince though. Vonleh would be really nice too. He is 6'9'' and can fill the PF spot with Tucker. I'm willing to give up a FRP plus Hart or House for him. He scored 22 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, had 2 blocks and 3 assists with zero turnovers against the Nets in 32 minutes on January 25th. He is a UFA on a 1.62 M contract.
Faried can hold it down until Clint returns. I believe that. His energy is refreshing, and that's coming from a person who knew Faried's arrogant ass in Denver. He's playing here with something to prove. Jersey abused him. He's going to be just as big for us as Austin RIvers. Consider the depth of Clint/Faried/Ne/ Thon would be unnecessary.
