Well, I think that last sentence is a little unfair to House. Faried has already earned around 56 mil in his career while Rivers has earned about 45 mil(plus he comes from a rich family and never had to worry about money anyway). And both will get paid again this offseason. Maybe not like they did before, but bottom line is if either one never picked up a basketball again and are responsible with their finances, they wouldn't have to work another day in their lives.

House wants to get paid. I understand where he's coming from. And someday he will barring injury. But I think he and his agent have deluded themselves into thinking that big payday could arrive this summer when in reality it's gonna be at least another year or two.

Could have been battling Kawhi and the Raptors in the Toyota center on ESPN

Instead he's battling @JakeSpeedR and @abu_hasanvoski on Twitter

    Fire your agent now man.

Did Morey demand a 3 year contract from either of these guys as a prerequisite to signing them? 2 year?
Do you honestly believe either one will be here next year playing for the min?
They both got kicked to the curb by their previous teams (bought out) and came here on a cut rate deal to play next to Harden and bolster their value for their next contract in the off season... as Morey would put it. they are 'using the team as a 'springboard'...' which I guess is alright - depending on whether or not DM has leverage or not...
House wants to play this year for the min too - but Morey refuses to convert him...

Understand that he wants to get paid. But his choice is preventing him to get paid. Playing a few seasons next to James Harden will put him in the spotlight and increase his skills and values a lot. After that he can look for a Robert Covington type contract $47M 4 years.

As it is, nobody is going to break the bank for a two-way player with only 20 games of work. If he is not playing in the league, it is hard to imagine someone will give him more than minimum contract next season.

Rivers and Faried are proven NBA veterans with multiple seasons of work.

House is on a two-way contract with 20 games of work.

    Big difference.

Most surprising of all this is the fact that he's verified and has 10k followers.

I don't have to respect His Rights for getting paid what He Thinks is owed.

Makes it easier when he's going on social media while the team is in the trenches.

What if the Rockets lost to the Raptors? House would have been thought of as the savior despite his ranting on Twitter.

What if doesn't count in real world. House makes himself more irrelevant each day he is off the court.

He will be lucky if the guaranteed 3 year offer is still available. Buyout and trade deadline will kill any leverage he thought he had.

Not disputing that they have very different pedigrees - you drew the parallel....

You stated that Faried and Rivers were all yippy skippy to play with Harden for the min - implying that House was out of line for not being like minded...

when in reality they ALL are desiring the EXACT same thing...

All want to play the remainder of the year for the min.
All want to parlay that effort into a more lucrative contract in the off season.

    Eh.

Kinda hard to compare their levels of quit.

At least house didn't do it in the middle of a game so I guess I give the edge to tmac?

Need a quitter all star game. 5 dudes playing 5 feet beyond the 3 point line playing hot potato with the basketball like Ryan anderson.
