You know what is insulting? Being stupid enough to elect a con man as President. That is insulting to the intelligent and compasionate people of this country.

You know what else is insulting, pretending to be a Christian and support a man who cheats on every wife he has ever had, pays off p*rn stars with hush money and fails to pay his bills, basically conning people out of their services.

You know what is insulting? Pretending to have integrity and looking the other way because you call yourself a conservative - That is fake honor.

So, yeah, I am Insulted by people that voted for Trump and should have known better, the stupid people can't help themselves, they are just too damned ignorant to understand, or they are mad and want to see the world burn and are not smart enough to know they are hurting themselves.

So, yeah, I popoff from time to time - sticks and stones my man, sticks and stones.....

Trumpasses are huring this country - no ifs ands or buts.

This is actually a YUGE relief. I was thinking he was going to start a war for the same reason.

I'm sure you all get this...but this is a hard target on Trump at this point. Stone is looking at spending the rest of his life and ultimately dying in prison...the alternative will be to flip on Trump.

Trump could just pardon him. Its a federal charge.

Not a very good bet for Stone if Stone believes there is evidence other than what he'd have to offer that would incriminate Trump...that's about as risky as it gets. At the very least that would provoke a massive Constitutional crisis about a president pardoning a man who allegedly committed crimes in furtherance of that president's election.

And I promise you, Mueller is very aware of a potential pardon...consider that when you think about what else he might have that we're not yet aware of.

I guess he could. But Mueller has all sorts of evidence from Stone already. Emails, text messages, and whatever else he was able to get from FBI raids at stone's homes and apartments.

I just read this idea too that I hadn't thought of....if he pardons them, then they can no longer plead the 5th, because they can't argue about fear of incriminating themselves any longer. So they could they be subpoenaed to testify with ZERO 5th Amendment protection.

Another concern would be that the pardons, like the firing of Comey, would be perceived potentially as obstruction. That's particularly so if there have already been communications between Trump and those he might eventually pardon in exchange for keeping quiet. There have been reports of this already happening. Again..Constitutional crisis stuff.

Beyond that, the political ramifications are so massive not just to Trump but to the GOP.

The judge released Stone on a signature bond, with no money down.

FBI seemed a tad over the top with the dawn raid/SWAT stuff.

I mean I think two guys in those FBI windbreakers would have sufficed.

And manafort got a private cell with internet and a laptop.

The reason for this is so that the defense can't claim they were treated unfairly or restricted access to the materials against them.

Stone's tattoo is hilarious in a laughing at you not with you kind of way.

Who gets a Tricky Dick tattoo that hasnt been smoking biker meth out of a swastica covered meth pipe?

It's like he's aspiring to be a comic book villain. "Stone" should be the next film in M Night Shyamalan's comic book film series.
