Everything Harden does in the regular season is hollow because they think he can't do it in the playoffs, is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. When they were thirsting for all things AD he had NEVER gone to the damn playoffs.

Stephen A Smith was raised with all women.

He went to college to be a hair dresser.

Yet for some reason he is the end all, be all of basketball now.

If the media perceives you as a #TWOWAYPLAYER with #NOHELP, it basically means you're immune from criticism.

Prepare for WALL TO MOFO WALL coverage of Zion Williamson coverage once he declares.

"ZION WILLIAMSON WITH 21 POINTS AND 8 REBOUNDS!..... annnnd George Harden had 73 points, 15 assists and 5 steals.... but he was on 16 of 40 on 3's.... chucker....ZION WILLIAMSON!"

It's like these guys don't watch Rockets games. "They can't win like this in the playoffs." Yeah, no sh-t, Will. If the Rockets are sans Capela and Paul(and House for that matter) in the postseason, they'll be lucky to escape the first round.

Let me explain this very succinctly for the idiots in the press. When healthy(knock on wood), the Rockets will have a guard rotation of Harden and CP3 backed up by EG and Rivers(maybe EG starts at the 3, but he's a guard). All 4 can handle the ball, pass the ball, drive to the hoop, and hit 3's. They'll also have Capela at center who'll anchor their defense and give Harden a lob threat when teams try to double team him on the drive. And backing up Clint will be Nene and Faried, both of whom can also finish at the rim.

So when the roster is fully loaded, Harden and the Rockets don't have to play like they're a one-man show. In fact, they can win handily even when Harden has a horrible performance. Just ask the T'Wolves after Game 2 or the Jazz after Game 5 in last year's playoffs.

Skepticism on Harden's playoff record is fair. He has quit in years prior & even I can't forget that. But skill wise you can't tell me he isn't the best player the last 2 seasons. Stephen A is normally reasonable with his take on Harden

How can Chris feel any pressure? He's already hit the pinnacle of his NBA career - the max contract. No topping that, nothing left for him to achieve professionally - that's the biggest prize by far. He'll be back when he's ready, absolutely no incentive for him to come back early. /s #cynical :sad panda:

I don't think any of this matters. If your basketball insight is good, you can be raised by Master Splinter and go to college to be a beach ball.

He makes no sense. He's saying there's pressure on Harden to change how he plays when CP3 returns. What pressure?! Harden will welcome Paul back into the lineup with open arms. You think he wants to have to score 50+ a night for the team to win? Even more than CP3, Harden is itching for Capela to get back. If this team is healthy, he can go back to scoring "only" 30-35 a game and the Rockets coasting to wins like they did last year.
