Can't wait to get CP back... the added bonus being that Ennis goes to the bench for good. I sure hope we can stay healthy enough so that Ennis/Knight never see the court again, they are so frustrating to watch.

Ennis at least played good defense in the 4th quarter. He was 1/3 on WIIIIIIDE open threes in that quarter too, including a miss in the final minute. Ultimately I think Ennis is unreliable for the playoffs but may be a preferable option for those backup minutes in the 2nd and 4th quarters over Gerald Green when it comes to nutting up time. He won’t make a shot, but at least he won’t have the head scratching brain farts on the other end as well.

An even bigger move with CP3 returning will be allowing Austin Rivers to play 15-20mpg, or perhaps sitting altogether to allow his hand to heal. Clearly it’s affecting his shot.

I'm pretty sure CP3's awful start to the season was injury related. Same with Gordon, I think those guys had some physical issues which required resting time.

Was hoping to see CP back in action for the Raptors game.
I'm having thoughts of another 76'ers blowout game

I sincerely wish they would sit him out an additional 3 weeks with a focus on strengthenging whatever needs to be strengthened to shore it up more than it is right now. We will make the playoffs without him, we just need him for those games.

If he does come back, I really hope we are going to 28MPG no back to backs and sitting an additional few games for kicks.

Lucky you - I don't even remember Knight playing more than 10 minutes this year. Basketball reference says he has played 118 minutes so far but they must have all been extreme garbage time minutes.

No big deal. Let him sit out and heal the injury to the point where we can have some faith in it. He shouldn't be coming back unless we are good to go in that regard.

He might as well wait until after the all star break.

I go back and forth on this in my head...

But when you consider the window, it's this year and maybe next. We need a fresh CP3 for the playoffs. Our goal is the championship and nothing less. Morey still needs to make moves and I believe he will.

CP3 has carried a huge load for his previous teams and could use the additional time off. Who cares about his salary this year if resting yum longer puts us in the best position to go into the playoffs strong and healthy.
