Think about this....Harden is averaging 7ppg more than the second leading scorer in the NBA

I think Harden could stand to pass it off a bit more. Sometimes, a rocket is open on the wing and harden just keeps the iso going. I’d prefer him to pass it to the open guy on the wing and let him put up an open 3 or attack the close out. I appreciate what Harden’s doing, but I feel like the team is missing some easy offense opportunities sometimes when he declines to pass it

Yes, that is possible, but I don't think he is entirely trusting them to make their shots, after the 1st half Lakers game.

I'm glad EG played reasonably well, but I'm surprised that Austin has completely collapsed on the offensive end. He should be scoring around 10 points a game, and that to in an efficient manner.

Harden's 61 points is even more commendable considering he grabbed 15 rebounds. He is trying to make up Capela's loss almost on his own.

Harden is on his way to the HOF, but let's not forget Gordon whose clutch performance saved the day. Our bench, on the other hand, has to be the worst in the NBA. What was Morey thinking?

Harden trusts Eric. I hope Austin will get going and earn James's trust too.

So many missed shots by players other than Harden and Gordon. My goodness someone needs to come to the rescue and hit some shots. Harden and Gordon cant do it all every night.

For Lakers fan, if the burn out for harden come at the fourth game in regular season that's perfect timing.

lakers fans are hoping harden is a one hit wonder now and 'dud' fire cracker.

Actually it would be great for a 3-6 match up in the playoffs because lebron almost swept harden in a playoff series before already.

But Lakers fan have to give harden credit for that Knicks steal because that was a lebron everyday move. He learned that from pj tucker.

One thing crazy - Harden had a terrible night from the three point line. He only shot 25% from there (5-20). Had he made his usual average of 40% he would have scored 9 more points for a total of 70.

A great point. James can't do it all, everyone else needs to step up in practice first and then in the game.
Don't lose confidence, you guys can do it!

Well that game went exactly how I feared, but I'll just enjoy Harden's 61 points and Gordon's heroics. But damn, the team as a whole is in a really bad place when you need 61 from Harden to beat the lowly Knicks. Defense is just embarrassingly bad and no one can make an open shot smh. Idk how we're going to survive the next 4 weeks without Capela, hopefully we are still in the playoffs by the time he gets back.
